USAs soon as I walked into the magnificent reception area at Sante I knew I would want to return. We had landed in Cape Town Airport in the late afternoon and we ere picked up by our driver Bev for the transfer to the retreat. A must because you will arrive already relaxed and not having to deal with the Cape Town traffic. The check in was seem less and we were not rushed to dinner even though our arrival was later in the evening. Our room was beautiful with plenty of space and an amazing view. The food was fresh and innovative and our spa treatments were so relaxing. The spa team were very flexible with our choices and extremely professional and kind. We did not visit other areas as we really needed to totally unwind and that is what we did! Everything about this outstanding retreat was just what we required and we will return one day to experience this special place again!
ZABreakfast very good, all meals are set menus would prefer to have a choice as lunches and dinners are set and you get what you get and are quite pricey considering you can’t choose and mains portion size is tiny.

The Spa was too big and impersonal and the spa prices were prohibitive. We were told Yoga was included in the price and were then charged a crazy price for a yoga class. When we wanted to use the sauna we were told that it was not on as there weren't enough guests and this is supposed to be included in the price - one of the few facilities that is!
If you are looking for a 5 star health and wellness experience this is the place to book. From the accommodation, food, staff, treatments, spa facilities, gardens, walks, birds, all the specialists in the health Optimizing Centre - everything is world class. You will never want to leave 😉
