Seacliffe Inn

Unique and old-school type of Inn.i liked the spacious room and communal coffee area on each floor. If the Inn could add tea to that, it would be great.

The floors were quite dirty and sticky, probably hadn’t been washed since last occupancy, but the rest of the room was clean and tidy, and probably just an oversight. Also, the bar just downstairs played very loud music until after 11 PM, although otherwise it was a nice, quiet, peaceful stay. Check-in and parking were very easy, even though we arrived late, and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The bottom line is we would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Great location for the Festival of Birds

We had to walk up three floors. The hotel had old fashion style. I liked the coffee station. Room was specious, but I would have liked real glasses not plastic.

Very old and tired facility. Room was clean but old carpet and old furniture didn’t make it feel clean. The old musty smell also very uninviting. A fresh coat of paint would help but this place needs a lot more. Accessibility is good although the stairs would be a challenge for many. Location is excellent.

Great view and service

I love how close restaurants, Point Pelee and the lake are to the hotel. Accessible and right next to the ferry to Point Pelee Island.

One must remember this is an older facility and with that goes the charm. Do not expect what you might at a brand new place. But the charm and friendliness and comfort more then made up for the lack of “new”!
