"Location is the thing"

I booked this hotel because it was the closest one to where my friends live and since neither they nor I would have a car everything could be done on foot. It is not a fancy hotel with fancy sheets. The rooms are fine facing the ocean also face the boulevard so I liked the view but if you have a problem with noise make sure you get a room facing the back. Just steps away from the beach and go out the back door to wonderful small streets with restaurants. I have to say that my room was not cleaned when I came. It was just an oversight and they couldn't have more apologetic. The maid personally apologized and brought me water and cokes. The night manager Paco was upset that I hadn't told him and apologized. It is a simple hotel but everyone was very friendly.
