Hotel Buenavista

Very rundown hotel, small and in urgent need of a little TLC. Rooms very basic and small, beds are rock hard and the bathrooms are shabby. Reception is tiny although the staff are pleasant enough, we stayed for 1 night - anymore and I would have left!

Rubbish hotel So BASIC YES IT HAS AC but nothing else. Also some stupid nonsense about having a reltive visit has to be pre authorised by the local police,,,absurd STAFF HAVE GREAT DIFFICULTY SMILING NOT EVEN A TOILET IN RECEPTION, WHAT IS ONE SUPPOSED TO DO? CROSS YOUR LEGS.?

Despite its prestigious location this is a very basic hotel. The view is indeed spectacular but the road noise really did disturb our sleep. The facilities were virtually non existent, but the room and bathroom were clean. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Lo mejor, sin duda, las vistas. La habitación muy sencilla, pero limpia. El personal amable, y es fácil aparcar gratis en las cercanías.

El Hotel está muy bien ubicado y no es mucho más de lo que uno paga. Yo lo visitaré otra vez seguro.

Room was 309, a bit 80s but spotless, lovely crisp linen sheets and room was at the back overlooking a pedestrianised street as are all the streets in the locality. Nice and quiet and a great nights sleep. Staff very helpful and Hotel Parking in €9 a day in the Underground Parking across the road. Best to enter Public Parking, do your business with Hotel, get your control fob, exit Public Car Park (50 cent) and park one level up. No food in Hotel but Gina’s on the far side of roundabout is excellent. It’s next door to a lovely Hairdressers. Ladies short hair wash and blow dry €7.

One night stop on a walking holiday. Great value. Great staff. It had a balcony with a view of the beach! Awesome.

The Buenavista is a fairly basic 1 star hotel on the seafront with a busy road in front and hence a little noisy. However it is one of the few hotels in the centre of town and a good place to stay in order to explore the old town. Lots of great restaurants nearby and lively paces to have a drink.

If you're looking for a 5* hotel with a trouser press and complimentary dental floss then look elsewhere. If you want a low cost (just check those prices), spotlessly clean room with basic frills slap bang in the centre of town, with Estepona's top rated bar/restaurant 20 meters away, then Buensvista is the place to go. Why look anywhere else?

This is a SIMPLE hotel: You get a relatively small room with a bed in it, free internet, a small flatscreen TV, and that's about it. No amenities other than a pump bottle of soap for the shower or bath. No fridge, no minibar. But, it is very, very clean, right downtown in a perfect location, and the staff are friendly. The bed is comfortable. There are no food & beverage facilities, but that doesn't matter, there are many small restaurants, coffee shops, and take-aways within a few meters of the hotel. Underground parking is available across the street, at an additional charge of 10 Euro per night. If you want a clean, SIMPLE hotel that offers great value for money, this is the place for you. If you want any kind of luxury experience, go elsewhere.
