Hotel Buenavista

The Hotel Buenavista occupies a prime front line location in the centre of Estepona. It is not a swish upmarket commercial enterprise, but a traditional antiquated Spanish hotel serving those of us who just love finding places like this that are friendly, comfortable and fairly priced. I was a single maie visitor and given a room overlooking the sea front and sea. It had a very comfortable double bed, ensuite bathroom with bath & shower. The windows had blackout curtains (a must have) and the aircondioner was reversible (hot/cold). The room was kept nicely warm for the cool January evenings! The front reception was manned 24 hours per day which is extremely worthwhile when traveling by night flight into Malaga airport and then by bus to Estepona. Being adjacent to old town is so convenient for all the bars and restaurants, Estepona is such a nice Spanish town and not overrun by noisy tourists (not during my visit). If you're looking for somewhere plush to post online, then you'll not be satisfied here, but if you're an adventurer happy to see what comes up, you'll not be disappointed with the Buenavista.

Reservé por esta web una habitación con cama doble y balcón amueblado, pues ninguna de las dos. La habitación tenia camas individuales y una ventana pequeña con vistas a la calle de atrás pero como los cristales estaban sucios no es que fuera a disfrutar mucho de las vistas... El baño y la habitación en sí eran muy viejos, la limpieza por dentro aceptable. Cuando le comenté a la recepcionista que la habitación no se correspondía con la reserva, me contestó: vale. No le protesté nada mas ni pedí hoja de reclamaciones pero ni pienso volver allí ni reservar por esta web mas.

We stayed here for the Christmas week last minute after the villa we were supposed to stay in had been broken into. How fortuitous as it turned out. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, the facilities provided everything we needed and we bought a kettle and two mugs in order to have an early morning cup of tea which we donated to a staff member on our departure. The location could not have been better being right in the centre with an excellent paseo with shops and bars leading up to the old town. Would recommend as it made our holiday excellent.

. Excellent position on the seafront. Just cross the road at the front for the beach, go out the back entrance for the beautiful Historic Centre. It also has a restaurant with a terrace out front on the pavement with the traffic, and another in the pedestrian street behind, with very reasonable food. Rooms with TV and free wifi, bath/shower room. Also air conditioning. Paid parking available. You can also stop outside to drop off your cases. Bus 79 has a stop not too far away, the other side of the roundabout with the horses. As modest hotels go, this is good. .

trevligt litet hotel. Beläget med stranden på andra sidan gatan framför hotellet. Baksidan av hotellet ligger en av de stora shopping gågatorna.

Very clean and certainly centra.would stay again as rates very reasonable.l
