The Amberley Inn

We had a lovely stay at the Amberley Inn. The owners were fantastic, and really make you feel welcome. Great breakfasts in the morning. We also had lunch and dinner there during our stay and would recommend the food. The hotel is lovely and cosy with log fires and views over the countryside. We will be back!

Good place to stay, food was very good and well priced, would stay again.

The hotel/Inn is situated in Amberley the middle of Minchinhampton Common. We had difficulty finding the hotel as it was thick fog across the common when we arrived,but the views were spectacular when the fog lifted. Our room was one floor up and the least expensive room there. The room appeared to be newly decorated but basic, with a shower room - no bath. It was very clean and overlooked the garden of the hotel. The bed was very comfortable, and the room very quiet at night. We had a good choice of breakfast and very nicely presented. We ate once in the evening at the hotel, with a fair choice of menu, but thought the meals were somewhat expensive compared to what we are used to in the Midlands. The staff and who I concluded was the owner/manager, were extremely friendly and obliging, which added to a happy and contented weekend we spent there.

Our (very clean) room was rather cold on the first night (a plug in radiator turned right up in the room sorted that for the second). Excellent beer and the restaurant food, whilst a little pricey, was exceptional. Log fire in the bars were excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. We will stay again when in the area.

秋のコッツウオルズの丘陵を探索すべく都会から離れた小規模ホテルが希望で4泊した。周囲は誠に美しく期待通りで素晴らしかった。ホテルの設備、サービス、清潔度料金等は平均レベルであった。しかし、料理が不味く遠方の街まで行かねばならなかった。　　

Hôtel très charmant, tout confort, le Patron et sa femme sont fort sympathiques, les chambres sont décorées avec gout , il y a tout ce qui faut pour passer un agréable séjour. Nous sommes tombés sous le charme de ce petit hôtel. je vous le recommande vivement.

We were just staying one night to break our journey - it was very comfortable and we had an excellent meal there there as well at a reasonable price. I would love to go back and use it as a base to see Gloucestershire. Staff were also very friendly and helpful. I would recommend it. Breakfast was also very good and our room was a nice size as was our bathroom.

Fik et værelse med en fremragende udsigt. Værelset ellers noget middelmådigt men meget rent og pænt. Spiste på stedet. Dyrt og ikke pengene værd. Morgenmaden meget fin.

a VERY COMFORTABLE HOTEL EXCELLENT BREAKFAST MENU

Amberley Inn was a surprise - neat and tidy with helpful friendly staff - and the breakfast was excellent! Our room was very spacious, the bed comfortable and ensuite pristine. Linen was crisp. All in all Amberley Inn was a great stay.
