Great location! Easy access to the beach and town and everything, right in the middle of Beach Ave. The room was charming, super clean, very comfortable and had everything I wanted. I thoroughly enjoyed my private balcony overlooking the beach, which was a key reason I booked the room. The bagel/coffee shop at the ground level was very convenient for breakfast.

The arcade across the street is unfortunate, but in the off season, it wasn't a big problem. I just looked up the beach past it and simply enjoyed the view and the sound of the waves. Heaven!

We have stayed at quiet a few places in Cape May. This one offered so bare basic even for convenience sake alone. That it was disappointing. No coffee maker in room ( they wanted you to buy from their coffee shop ) shower area was dark,hardware for temp control lever and shower head loose, felt like was gonna fall off and just spun around and not working well, fridge made loud popping noises often.Signs posted numerous places with all do not do , did not make it feel very welcoming. Never had an experience quite like it. Things to do signs had some incorrect information for things not even available.

Location was excellent, nice staff, clean rooms

I was extremely happy with the location, the onsite parking, and also the convenience of Bagel Time on the bottom floor! All of the staff at the hotel was very friendly and accommodating!!

The location on Beach Ave was excellent, right across the street from the beach and within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops. Free on-site parking enabled us to leave our car and walk to many of the places we wanted to visit. The desk staff (Dessie, in particular) were helpful, as was the young lady who volunteered to carry our bags up two flights of stairs. I also liked the tote bag system for getting fresh towels daily without having the whole room cleaned.

Going up and down the steep front stairs as well as the two flights to our room was challenging at times for older legs. That was the only downside to this lovely, historic establishment.
