Saxony Motel

My room was available via Bookings & it was on the ground floor so I could drive up to it.

I had no remote in my room for the TV & it took a while to get one.

It was conveniently located and reasonably priced.

The cleanliness was an issue especially the bathroom.

Excellent value for the price, clean room, friendly staff, great location, lots of privacy. We didn't end up using the jacuzzi but it's cool that it's there!

The only thing we weren't crazy about was that the heater was very noisy and would stop and start a lot.

For the price of the room, the value was really good. Spacious, all the required necessities of a hotel room.

Our rating would have been MUCH higher except for one major flaw: there was no security latch on the hotel room door. There was just the flimsy door handle lock - the kind you might find on a bathroom door in your home. This made the room feel very unsafe. I would not have left any valuables in the room alone, nor would I consider this property safe or appropriate for many travellers who are travelling alone. In short, if someone wanted to get into the "locked" room, one solid kick or shoulder check would likely force the door open. Not secure.
