The breakfast was good with a great variety of dishes. At lunch, there were a few side dishes and salads, along with some fish or meat. Dinner was very good, featuring a wide variety of food, multiple types of soup, and various desserts. There was also live music, though I felt it was a bit too loud at times. The hotel provided a free shuttle bus to the beaches, and the schedule was very convenient. The beach, which cost 3 euros per day (there was also a free beach): it was very clean, and there were always free sunbeds available in the shadow. The Red Sea is beautiful, with lots of fish, corals and a convenient pier for diving. The hotel itself was clean, although the buildings are showing some age. However, the air conditioning and everything in the room worked well. There was also a good Wi-Fi connection in the rooms, and the staff were always friendly.

I didn't like was that lunch was only served outdoors when the sun was at its peak. To go inside the indoor restaurant area, you have to climb an inconvenient stairs. There were very few drink options during lunch and dinner there was no tea, just water and juice and not many fruits and berries (watermelon ), and the melon that they served regularly were unripe.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon; our experience was, on balance, a positive one. At £268 for a one-week all-inclusive holiday, it was a bargain. The resort was not busy, presumably because of the heat there in June. I imagine there would be fierce competition for sun loungers during periods of high occupancy. There was a good mix of nationalities, including many Arab families. The overall atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. Facilities: Buffet restaurant Spa Small gym Pool bar Kids' zone Pluses: Friendly staff Great food - especially the pâtisserie Value for money Average: The decor, appliances and fitments in the rooms are past their best, and require modernisation. Pool bar does not offer a great variety of drinks - draught beer was not supplied at the time of our visit. Minuses: Wi-fi is abysmal: even short reels on FB buffered. Entertainment was a notch above amateur; and the range of daily in-resort activities was unimaginative. Air-conditioning could not be set below 20°C. The guy hustling to do haircuts and massages was a bit of a nuisance. In summary, the minuses would not deter us from returning to this hotel.
