Hotel Okada

Hot baths.

There was a mistake with our booking - we were 4 and the booking was for 2. We were charged the same amount we'd already paid for the room for our two children (one 10, one over 18) that were staying in the same room with us. Room was still setup for 2, no sheets, no towels, 2 kimonos. A bit disappointing.

The location and setting is simply spectacular no question. The access to up to 13 hot springs was great. We had the nice tatami mats and futons.

I found it quite tired and a bit faded. The windows were worn. Staff were fine. The shuttle bus is over subscribed and hard to get on. Though the room slept up to 5 people, I had booked for 3. We called ahead to see if we could add another person and were quoted 50,000 yen for the privilege for two nights!

The staff were fantastic. The foot bath on level 8 was also a highlight!

Was a little dated. Was a long walk to the man town/restaurants.

Beautiful location and amazing accommodation. Had our own private onsen which meant we could both relax whilst our toddler slept. Great on-site buffet dinner and breaky and very accommodating of our toddler. Lovely staff.

We loved the Japanese room. It's true that the hotel is a bit old, but we loved it anyway. Vintage japanese style. Very authentic!

Beautiful hotel, amazing views! The onsen was amazing and the buffet was really really good too
