"Cheap and cheerful we loved it"

10.0

I am English and my partner is Spanish. We booked three nights at this hotel for my birthday so we could afford to stay in Granada for long enough to see the main sights without breaking the bank. I have stayed in all types of hotel .... Big, small, posh, budget etc etc and to be honest I now prefer the personal service afforded by small, family run accommodation. If you are on a budget and are not bothered about the usual frills of a top hotel ... Smart TV, mini bar, pool etc etc the please consider staying here if you visit Granada. Sergio was lovely and brought us a cup of tea each morning .... He was very helpful and we would stay here again

"Excellent"

8.0

This cozy and unique hotel is conveniently located to the Alhambra, shops and restaurants. Although very small, the room was adequate for our family of four and included a kitchenette, bathroom and deck with views up to the Alcazaba and downtown Granada. Sergio (the owner) was very helpful with directions, parking and places to eat. Overall, a great and relatively affordable place to stay.

"Lovely place, close by the Alhambra"

10.0

We stayed here 3 nights. The gentleman and his daughter were very nice and friendly. The pension is in a good location, with all of the sights and restaurants close by. The place was immaculate and the apartment was very cosy. The roof terrace gives a nice view of the Alhambra. It was a bit difficult to find as it is off a small side road, but once we got there, things went smoothly. We would recommend this place without hesitation and when we visit Grenada again, we will choose to stay here.

"The best hostel I have ever stayed"

10.0

Fantastic! super nice. Really big and clean bathroom and comfortable beds. The owner let me stay till the evening the following day because he didn't need the room for that night. That was life saving because my flight was really late and I wanted to rest and shower before departure. The only downside was that the wireless was not picking up in my room at the far end of the second floor, but I actually didn't need it.U

"Central location, but not so clean"

6.0

The hostel is located perfectly in the very centre of Granada. The rooms are ok'ish, but the bathroom wasn't clean and there were shortages of hot water.

"Good"

Very tiny room but it was very clean and had a good feel. Do not drive, park elsewhere and take the taxi. Perfect location for anyone who wants to walk up the Hill.

"Great place to stay"

8.0

I really like this hostal. It felt more like a hotel to me, but maybe that's because I got a private room. The bathroom was actually outside of the room, but I never saw another guest and I did have the only key for it. My privacy was never compromised. The location is perfect. At the bottom of the hill leading to the Alhambra and a quick walk to Bar Leon, which became my favorite place in Granada for tapas, and Hannigan & Sons, a fun Irish pub. The city center/commercial district is also a quick walk. The room did not have a TV, but if you need a TV in Granada you have issues. Most of all, the owner Sergio is a really great guy. If you speak a little Spanish or at least try to, you'll immediately consider him a friend. I read some other review saying negative things about him. It's not true. He's a sweet old man who can pass for your grandfather, and I wish him all the success and happiness in the world. I hope I get to stay here again soon.

The place was very comfortable and close to all the must-see places in Granada. Very quaint alternative to the normal hotels.
