Mid STRENGTH beer..yuk.no good

Just found the establishment to be very outdated and a bit run down. For the price paid, I was expecting better.

Run down, in need of some TLC

The rooms were spacious and had a good view, there was plenty of parking available and the receptionist was super friendly and easy to talk to and very accomodating towards me and my son

Looked secure for parking our motorcycle. Good location. Staff were super friendly and very helpful. Our room was initially on the second floor but we asked if we could be on the ground floor to be close to our bike and they accommodated us with a smile. Lovely people.

Nothing to complain about. It’s a bit old and dated but that’s reflected in the price and it’s clean so all good.

The Clifton Motel is really perfectly situated. It's a short walk - 8 to 12 minutes - to some excellent cafes and some lovely restaurants and smaller shops (e.g. an excellent book shop, gift shop and sporting goods store). It's an even shorter walk to a beach. The staff at the front desk are very friendly and obliging. We ate in one night, and they were happy to provide us with plates, bowls and cutlery. I haven't had a swim in the pool, but it looks quite inviting.

This was our second stay at the motel. Our first stay we paid a little more (approx. $15 more per night) and had a room that was exceptional: very tastefully decorated and spacious. For this, our second stay, the king sized room was out of our budget (approx. $25 more per night), so we booked a regular room. We were put in a spa unit. The spa was very large, and took up a good part of our bedroom. It had a lot of mirrors around it, too, so we always seemed to catch sight of ourselves in a mirror. It was a bit disconcerting. We didn't want to use the spa, so it wasn't that appealing for us.

Very helpful receptionist. Due to „difficult“ guests above our room we were given a new room. Easy and very friendly.
