The Galley of Lorne Inn

Bad lighting, toilet ran all night. Took 30 minutes to get WiFi working. Bed hard as a rock.

The location of property is beautiful. Staff were very friendly. I was disappointed that breakfast was served in the lounge area and not in the restaurant with the beautiful view of the loch as indicated when booking the property. Scrambled egg was overcooked. Very thin walls in the room. Could hear every noise from adjoining rooms.

Fantastic location, food and drink. Bathrooms looking tired and need a refurb.

Quiet location ok. Actually at Ardfern, NOT Lochgilphead some 12+ miles away! Abruptly told its no good standing at reception, its not used!, though it says ring the bell for service Off hand and very, very slow service in restaurant. Breakfast service was good Small room with comfortable bed.

Dated property. Confusing check in, the reception desk isn’t staffed so we had to find the staff in the lounge. We had to leave early and they were very helpful at making us a sandwich the night before for our travels. Appreciated that.

We had 3 nights stay in Iona suite - staff very friendly and helpful. Service was also good. Location stunning views . Well worth a visit

The hotel was quite satisfactory place to stay, but has some problems, such as the water went cool in middle of a shower and I found the water tasted bad

Nice Inn about 35 min from Oban. Beautiful setting next to a lake. They have picnic tables st up to enjoy the string.

The Inn was very nice and it has a very tranquil surrounding. The rooms were nice and the bathroom had a 5 foot bathtub that was great. I stayed two nights in two different rooms. The first night I had noisy neighbors but the second night was much better. The food in the Inn was good and the price was very fair. The grounds sat next to a lake and they had picnic tables outside if you wanted to be outside. It was about 35 minutes to Oban along a beautiful drive. I would recommend this hotel and I would return if I was in the area again.
