Days Inn by Wyndham New Philadelphia

I will never stay there again. The shower was lukewarm at best. There were pods for making coffee in a coffee maker but no coffee maker. The ice machine didn't work.

Shower fixtures showed years of wear, air conditioner display not working right.Beds were good and room was clean. Room was what one should expect for the price.

The room was dirty. TV didn’t work. Bugs in the floor and on the bed. Hot water didn’t work. Door was broken. Didn’t even make it through the night. Had to leave and drive 45 minutes away to find a new hotel.

Room was dirty, floor hadn’t been swept or cleaned, shower is stained orange with holes in the sides, no towel rack, tiny toilet, evidence of bed bugs to the point that we tried to find another hotel by because of Hall of Fame weekend, no other hotels were available. My wife and I ended up purchasing bed bug spray and other cleaning supplies and spent an hour cleaning. The dresser and bed stand were dirty too, we didn’t even take our luggage into the room. Before we even entered our room we noticed no less then 4 charcoal grills on the walk ways against the very rooms that people sleep in. One guy was actually cooking on one he pulled into a parking space and blocked with an orange traffic cone. Accident waiting to happen. On the good side the mattress slept comfortable once we got the bugs out of our thoughts. The 2 receptionists we met were nice and friendly even though they had no power/authority to improve our situation. As my wife and myself stopped into the office to talk, there was a man arguing with the receptionist over a missing TV remote, she stayed calm even though she didn’t have a replacement, he escalated and stormed out. A comment I find telling is that the hotel (close to 100 rooms) only had one house keeper. It’s apparent that it’s been that way for some extended time.

Staff was ok, but no hot water at night plus no water pressure, floor was dirty. This hotel need to be remodeling.

Our room was half ass done. One bed was made up while the other had a flat sheet thown on top. Tv didn't work. Was given a remote which didn't help cuz it wasn't programmed. Tv was taken away for 2hrs & replaced w/a remote that worked for 3 channels. Our ac went out, no hot water in the shower & bathroom sink driped water...couldn't even wash my hands

This hotel was dirty and was in need of repair. There were unrepaired holes in the bathroom wall, poorly repaired holes in the bedroom area, trash under the bed, dirt and hair in the shower. The mirror had several black areas from the back possibly due to being removed and placed back to the same wall.The rooms looked nothing like the images online. There was no toiletries in the room and 1 set of bath towels for 2 people. There was 2 plugs in the room 1 for the lamp between the beds and the other for a tv and extension cord that had a coffee maker, microwave, and a refrigerator (fire hazard). If we could give this place zero stars we would. We booked for 2 nights. Stayed one and moved to another hotel.

The building is old and our door lock was hard to open at times. The beds were comfortable and the pool was nice but there were about a dozen dead stink bugs under the main light shade. We called housekeeping and were told it's a maintenance issue and the maintenance man was out of state so there was nothing they could do.

Walkable distance to Mexican and bar b que. No TV remote or coffee maker.

Staff was very friendly
