Days Inn by Wyndham New Philadelphia

This place was a dump. Dirty bathroom. Towel rack torn off the wall. Blow dryer did not work. Phone in the room was dead. No towels. Advertised free breakfast but that was a cup of yogurt. I can’t believe that Wyndham allows their name on this run down dumpster fire. Extremely disappointing. I’d give it 0 stars if that was possible.

the staff at check-in were really friendly but said that the room would be ready in 10 mins. while it was cleaned, not so 45mins. we were offered another room with 2 beds (did not want). floor was dirty, sandwich in microwave. no table or chairs, security latch was missing, toilet seat was not secure ( they fixed promptly)

Other then the this hotel is unkept and disgusting, I also didn’t receive my $50 deposit back and left my room better then when I got there. I’m a house keeping supervisor in Columbus, so this hotel keeping my deposit with outrageous claims is an insult. I highly recommend looking elsewhere this place takes advantage of their customers and have corrupt actions!

Check in was delayed for 15 minutes as the desk clerk said an employee went home early and didn't finish cleaning our senior accessible room, so she had to check and substitute another room. Also she answered two consecutive phone calls (instead of putting them on hold) while I was waiting for the room key! The pool was not clear water but murky looking, our shower had a wet/bloody towel left in the corner, which meant we had to go back to the office and ask for another towel. Not the best place to stay.

When I arrived, she gave me a dirty room. When I went back to the desk to let her know, she wasn’t there so I waited till she returned. I got the key to another room. The toilet had burns on them and the walls were dirty. The bed by the ac was ok comfort wise but the other bed was dipped in the middle. The tv remote didn’t work. No ice. The pictures you have on the app need to be updated. They do not match. Deceiving. Also the app doesn’t disclose the fact that they charge a 50$ deposit that is refunded at the end. This is a problem because I paid for my reservation and wasn’t expecting 50$ more.

I guess you get what you pay for

There was a price difference from the reservation indicating $38.xx and the check in was $60.xx. I will be calling Expedia to find out why the difference.

Customer service was great. However, the room needed some attention. The room offered shampoo & conditioner, plenty of towels. The air conditioner blew nice cold air. There were only 3 wooden hangers in the room. Could’ve used more. The water pressure in the shower worked well. Images provided for the items that need serious attention.

1st room secondary lock was missing, room reeked of Marijuana and smoke detector was beeping. 2nd room was better but would not stay there again.
