Hotel Silver Home - Hostel

The staff in Silver Home were great. Not pushy salesmen, and always very happy to help with any questions. We enjoyed our stay there.

we arrived at silver hotel so late..almost 4am because of 3 days delayed on KLIA. and actually we delayed for 2 days to stay at silver home hotel. but the staff are so kind, they helping us to not pay again for new reservation. the staff are friendly, one man name Ranjan also help us to go around kathmandu. the room is comfortable, just not comfortable with electricity problem (well all hotel in kathmandu have this problem anyway)

Well it was a buiseness and a leasure trip, i must say my stay as always was so comfortable, value for money, it wont be incorrect to say its a Home away from your home. I mean it guyz n especially theres one Mr Alex whos out n out a thorough guy who can help you with just aboug anything related to your treks n adventure in and around Kathmandu and Mr Brish who can be of utmost help @ the hotel itself. I have been staying @ this property for gud 20 years now. As i frequent kathmandu almost every two to three months.

The dormitory was cold, there was a gap in the doorway that went to the balcony (inaccessable), but the blanket kept me warm. The bathroom was gross, no waste bin and always wet.

If you stay in the hotel everything is fine. But when i came back after a trip and i wanted a room, they were not nice to me. And they had no room and didn't knew if they had one the day after.

Excellent location - central Thamel but quiet. Staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good. I have stayed at the Silver Home several times and it is a little better this year than last.

Dirty and damp. Stains all over bedsheet. Not recommended at all.

I had a great stay. The room was clean and the showers had hot water. I was traveling with 2 friends and they provided us with a room with 3 separate beds. We celebrated Holi after we checked out. When we came back soaked and filled with colors they let us go to our already clean room to shower for free. So nice! That way we could travel home comfortably. I'd recommend this place! Very affordable. In a corner street in Thamel, so away from all the craziness!

All the things were very good,hotel staff behavior was very friendly.overall it was nice stay there thanx to hotel.com to finding a such budget hotel in out door places.and one more thing that i am looking for my next vocation in Andaman island you may also send an links o budget and comfy hotels.hope we will in touch in future

Clean room. Breakfast not too bad. The staff is simply amazing. I will defenetly stay in this hotel again once I'll get back to kathmandu.
