Friendly staff very helpful

This place is a dump

Electricity cut no backup no lighting in the toilet, tap water very bad smell, taxi driver can't find the hotel.

Good for single travelers who are staying for 1-2 days.

I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Silver. The staff proved to be very helpful going out of their way to make me happy. The restaurant staff were excellent. This hotel caters to all types of tourist both Western and Indian tourists. I felt very safe for myself and also my belongings. They should provide a international call service to their phones as that was a slight obsticle for contact and also to make onward travel payments. I needed to go outside the hotel to do this which was a drag. Otherwise my stay was very comfortable.

If your looking for a cheap one night stay and or a backpacker traveling for the night then this is the place.

Very cheap room but at that price...

Electricity goes 10 to 12 hr. daily. Every thing is costly water bottle cost Rs.35. no water while taking dinner. No TV in room which was given to me. Generally within this rent we get in India, TV, electricity which would allow to read at least book or do any academic work , free water in Room etc. but in the hotel silver in it was not avaibale at this rate. I feel myself that I have taken wrong dicision to book room in this hotel.

Nothing like it appears online. I'm used to staying in budget places, but this was damp, dirty and thoroughly unpleasant. Bathroom was filthy with fixtures hanging off the walls and coackroaches running around. The whole place, including the bed, was damp and therefore freezing cold. The staff were, however, decent enough to give us a partial refund from an online booking. We moved a few meters down the road where, for a matter of a few pence more, we got a vastly more comfortable room. We were not the only guests to have done this on the night we were there.

Cheap hotel to stay for some days. You get what you pay for. Do not trust anybody as you will be offered better deals in days out, buses and plane tickets which aren´t better deals. It is not the end of the world, but get informed in different places before taking a decision. If travelling in a rush, then get everything sorted over there. It will be slighter expensive, but you´ll save time.
