The rooms are very run down, overpriced for the value

The staff was superb. Nora, at the front desk, is bilingual and was simply outstanding. She was so helpful and friendly with solving any problem. Omar, the tour guide was one of the best that I have had in any country. Very knowledgeable the such a nice person. Nordati at the front desk is excellent too. Ayarti at the breakfast area is very nice too. The food in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was superb. The people working in the restaurant are very good too. The guy that closes the gym on Wednesday night is very helpful. There is a great view of the ocean and sunset from the property. There are many nice areas where you can sit outside and relax. The guys who do the landscaping and yard are very good, the property looks perfect. There is an artist who sells her beautiful paintings in the lobby. The staff at this hotel are excellent

the location was beautiful

This place ( location and house itself) has potential which is not used at all. The only room which was kind of cozy and beautiful is reception. All other public rooms and spaces were like they have been abandoned decades ago. Rooms were cleaned, but they looked dirty because everything in there is so worn out. We really felt bad there. There is big discord between the photos, the price and reality. And one more thing which can be connected with hotel and if it is not then the hotel will know too: there walks around a guy who introduces himself as the guide of Retaj Moroni. His name is Said. In fact he is impostor. His goal is to cheat people out of money. Watch out!

I booked the hotel for a staycation for my newlywed wife and me to spend our honeymoon there. Here is some feedback I would like to share: a) The rooms are clean, but the facilities, shower, and toilet could be better. b) I specifically booked half-board meals in advance, including breakfast and dinner. However, the staff was unaware of this, and I had to sort it out with them later. c) One would expect meals to include something to drink, but we had to pay separately for soft drinks. d) The food is the same every time. One would expect some variety. e) The Wi-Fi is substandard and does not work as expected. f) The pool and relaxation area have far too few chairs for the number of guests. g) I did not find the staff particularly friendly, with one or two exceptions. h) It would be much easier if there were staff who could speak English. i) The hotel could do more to assist guests with access to tourist attractions, as well as arranging transport to and from the airport, beaches, and shops. Overall, I believe we could have received better value for money. I do, however, appreciate the staff who went the extra mile, especially in setting up our room to create a honeymoon atmosphere within their limitations. In conclusion, the hotel has great potential, but they need to address the points mentioned above.
