"Nice hotel shame about the staff"

Lovely looking hotel and room very nice. On arrival we were told 'your room is on the first floor' no offer of assistance etc. The general attitude was very offhand and unfriendly. The restaurant food was good, however, the restaurant lacked any atmosphere again due to the attitude of the proprietor who was the only person serving nine tables. The menu choice was large, but over 50 per cent was unavailable as it was a Tuesday!

"Excellent"

Excellent food well presented and served. Accommodation was atmospheric and the whole venue had an overall atmosphere of time standing still. A little off the beaten track but well worth finding. The owner was very helpful and made us feel at home.

"A lovely hotel"

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The service was excellent , the room was clean and large ( it was a disabled room)with a fantastic shower. The food was excellent.

we ordered our meal in good French and waitress replied rudely in English. She got the wine order completely wrong--asked for Pinot Noir and got Bourgogne Aligote-- don't think she was interested.

"Lakeside hotel with lovely dining experience"

Lovely tranquil location ideal if you enjoy peace and quiet and are happy to drive to see other places. Proprieters very friendlyguving a relaxed atmosphere. The menus we felt were pricy we opted for a set menu which was excellent. A good stopover if you don't mms spending a bit more in dinner as the local area has few dining options nearby. Excellent breakfast is an optional extra at 10 Euros Lakeside location very pleasant.

"Lovely location by the lake"

The hotel is in a lovely spot - very quiet and a bit off the beaten track. Our room was large and the beds were comfortable but it really needed updating. We enjoyed our evening meal but skipped breakfast to get an early start.
