Boatshed Motel Apartments

These apartments are very close to the Omanu end of Mt Maunganui. A very short walk to the beach and away from the hustle and bustle. The rooms are a little dated but very clean and well appointed. A good restaurant and also a fish and chip shop within walking distance. A major shopping mall a very short drive away.

Just a quick visit to sample the beach and town. Very close to the beach and a short drive to the shops and town centre.

Really Awesome place, we had all the comfort's of home specially for our family of 6 children. We had a slight view of the ocean and that was perfect. Thank you for the nice warm scones that were delivered to our room they were just beautiful. Wonderful Hospitality,would definitely stay again.

Stayed at the Boatshed for one night, and was pleasantly surprised by the generously sized appartments (2 double beds, 2 single beds, 2 ensuites, a full kitchen-including gas hobs and a dishwasher- and a huge deck). My favourite feature of the appartments were the showers which, white appearing to be old and run down, had fantastic water pressure. Reasonable price and overall good experience, though perhaps the motel was a bit run down.

The hostess had thought of everything, down to the little complementary chocolates. Beautiful sheets and a generous space throughout. Very clean. Home away from home. Detail in the collection of beautiful drinking glasses for any social event. Made our romantic weekend away truly delicious. I want to run away back to this little piece of heaven. The room rate was very generous for the quality of the apartment.

The hotel was one block from the beach and perfect for a family visit. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. We had an excellent meal at a small restaurant just around the corner.

Comfortable and very close to beach, good for families

Great facilities and comfy beds. Layout of rooms very good however ensuite in double room was quite small. The bed heads on both double and single beds banged on the wall at the slightest movements. Overall though it was a very pleasant stay in a beautiful location.

These beds were the best ever and lets face it not sleeping in your own bed is often not the best! Can't fault this place in terms of home away from homes!
