Bryn Melyn Apartments

The apartment was exceptionally clean and spacious with everything we needed. The views over the estuary from the 2nd floor apartment, Eryri, were incredible and made the walk up Panorama Road worth it. There is a shorter but steeper walk straight up that cuts out the winding road, which is handy! Location in terms of proximity to the town is perfect, being about a 20-minute walk from the front door to Barmouth train station. It's blissfully peaceful, and we heard no noise from surrounding neighbours or the other 2 apartments at Bryn Melyn. David greeted us with a friendly welcome and reassurance that he and Heather were on hand should we need anything. There's plenty of communal books and games to borrow for entertainment on a rainy day or evening and a range of nespresso pods for guests to take back to the apartments, which is a lovely addition. I'm sure we will be back in Barmouth in the near future, and we will absolutely be checking the availability of Bryn Melyn as our first choice accommodation!

We had the most amazing stay at Bryn Melyn. We stayed in the Noddfa apartment and it was stunning. The view from the windows takes your breath away. We were so lucky with weather as it was gorgeous for our whole stay, meaning we always had amazing views from the windows in living room and our bedroom. The facilities were exceptional, prividing us with everything we needed for our stay. We loved the coffee machine with pods provided. We would 100% recommend Bryn Melyn for a place to stay. Barmouth is busy in peak summer, but Bryn Melyn is tucked a little out of town centre so much quieter . Owners were friendly and they have created a pack of laminated recommended walks which we took advantage (again the walks provided stunning views over Barmouth). Food- The Last Inn, Mermaid fish and chips and Knickerbockers are a must for your stay too.

It's not really a negative as Bryn Melyn is worth the climb, but the hill is steep leading to accommodation. Just pace yourself, stop when you need to and appreciate the wonderful views on your way up. It's only a 5 to 10 min climb.

Great views from apartment lounge & bedroom. Coffee capsules for machine in apartment were complimentary. Milk in fridge & Welsh tea bread was nice touch.

The bed mattress was too soft for me, however, this is just a preference so others may find this a plus point.

every thing the host .were helpful kind and caring ,the bed so comfy ,and it was such a lovely apartment ,they put lovely little touches for us .and the views were so wonderful ,it was a quite peaceful place ,you could just relax ,and the birds around were so many dont get to see ,was wonderful just watching them for ages ,area out side to sit and read ,with beautiful flowers all around ,car spaces to park ,every where so clean the wifi was easy to get on to and fast .kitchen had every thing you need to cook with ,and lots of books and games down stairs to use ,would go back as we loved it so much thank you for our time their xx

Final staircase quite steep. Parking on a slope was OK by the end of the week.
