Chantaramas Resort

I was staying in Bottle Beach for 4 days. Unfortunately, Pabuk storm hit Koh Phangan. My partner and I had to move. We chose this place thinking it was safe, but it was not. Thai authorities issued a warning to stay off the beach. They knew at the time I booked, but did not disclsef it. I asked for a refund twice as we could not stay, they ignored me. Bottom line, go somewhere else where they care about you and your safety; not only your money. There are plenty if places nearby that are as good or better, and have an ethical behavior. Stay away from here if you can.

This was booked as a birthday present for my girlfriend as something special as we’ve been staying in hostels while travelling and it didn’t disappoint in the slightest. I booked the taxi to meet us at the pier and they we very kind to give us a cold towel and cold bottle of water as soon as we were in the car. The service from Tea and his team for the 3 nights we stayed there was exceptional, and they even put decorations in our room while we were out to surprise the Mrs. I cannot recommend this place enough, nothing is too much trouble and the resort itself is beautiful. Rooms are huge and the mini bar and snacks are very responsibly priced and there was even free mosquito repellent! Would stay here again without hesitation!

a beautiful hotel right on the beach front! The rooms were big and amazingly decorated the bathroom was great! We ate at the hotel once and the food was lovely also! Great location if your trip is based around attending the half moon party as this is just up the road and the hotel offers a taxi service. The closest shop is about 10/15 walk from the hotel otherwise it is a short taxi journey into the surrounding areas. Staff were very friendly and helpful!

My bf and I really enjoyed our stay- so much that we extended our stay. The food was good and we did not get sick of having almost all our meals there for 3 days. The staff were very friendly, particularly 1) a lady at the reception (morning shift) who suggested tours for us and made bookings for us; and 2) the evening shift restaurant team who looked out for my bf and I when we went kayaking and did not return until after sunset and they played very funny Thai movies during dinner so that we can experience Thai culture. We tried the massage at the resort and the foot massage was great. I highly recommend this resort!

Absolutely loved this place. Friendly staff, beautiful set up. Very comfortable and safe.

Location Crappy location in the middle of nowhere. Extremely difficult to get a taxi, and the hotel charges 800baht for transportation from my other hotek which is only 15mins ride away.No convenient store or eatery nearby while the restaurant at the hotel is horrible. Service Unhelpful staffs that could not be bothered to do the least for you and forgetful staffs who make you want for ages for a small request. Terrible housekeeping that let me check into a dirty room with hair all over the bath and shower with stinky sewage. Did not clear the bins for two days Room The room itself is big and comfortable Wifi Drops in and out the whole time and the location of the hotel has poor data coverage Breakfast Terrible food and disgusting coffee... I will not return.

The resort is nice and quite. But, the service is not as it should be and more typical for a 2* hotel. There are better choices...
