Chantaramas Resort

This hotel/resort was perfect! Staff were extremely friendly and also spoke English very well! So it was perfect for a couple of Canadians in Thailand. Our room was perfect, exactly as the pictures showed. No false advertisement with the view. The staff was accomodating and did their job very well. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Then there was the food. Absolutely amazing. Whoever is cooking back there deserves a big pat on the back and a raise. I would highly recommend this hotel, especially if your tired of the touristy city hotels. It doesn’t get much better in Phangan! Your in the middle of the beach and the city and it makes it very convenient to get to either place. I Highly recommend chantaramas! Thank you for making our stay memorable and comfortable!

Had a very lovely stay here with my wife and my children. The resort has a very beautiful setting and was very well maintained. Upon arrival, the staff greeted us with cold towels, fresh juice, and friendly service. They were a joy to deal with. The room was very large, nicely furnished and had a huge separate bathroom. The pool area was beautiful, surrounded by really comfy sun loungers. Excellent range of food for breakfast with a nice view of the sea. The whole hotel complex was simply a great environment to relax in and was tremendous value considering how little we paid.

First time in Koh Phangan and this hotel makes my memories of Koh Phangan very positive. The Room and Bathroom were spacious, beautifully decorated and comfortable. Spa bath on the balcony was relaxing and enjoyable. The location quite isolated but staying here hardly needed to go anywhere else. Amazing beach front. Huge swiming pool. Good food with fair price. Breakfast selection was also good. The staffs and services were all right. I would very much reccommend this place.

Me and partner have been travelling Thailand and this is probably bang on in the middle of the list of places we have stayed. Hotel and room was nice however staff/service wasn’t so great. The restaurant in particular, was firstly the most expensive place we have been and definitely the worst. There is one lady there who literally couldn’t be any less interested if she tried and the food is below average. It’s a shame but again hotel great and just taxi into town or walk down the road for local (better) food.

We were lucky enough to get this hotel at half price, so we jumped on it. For the price we paid I was thrilled with what we got. The room and bathroom were both huge but the window looked straight out onto the path where staff would be working from 6:30am onwards and guests would constantly be walking past making us feel a little watched. Mosquitoes were a big issue but nothing insect repellant can’t fix. The hotel grounds are beautiful. The buffet breakfast was limited and the restaurant was grossly overpriced. Staff were lovely but came across quite unprofessional at times. Once again, thrilled with what we got for 50% off but I’d be pretty annoyed if I paid full price.

First impressions count. So being jumped by 3 dogs at the lobby whom im told are residents of the lodge isnt very nice doesnt also show the place being very hygenic. Overall the complex has potential to be amazing with an Amazing beach front, however, the room we got had a really really bad damp smell, the air con was blowing out bits of what not so the room wasnt pleasant to breathe in to say the least. The room has gaps in the doors so be prepared for mosquitos invading in. The food in the place was a let down, limited menu and quality below average. Room service was poor no 24 hr service and if you needed anything you had to send a message via whasup to the desk that is if you can get on to the wifi network which was really poor. If the room was comfortable at the very least i wouldve been content with everything else being sub par level but it wasnt. I was quite glad to see the back of it when i left.

The resort is great! Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, they will try to help with every question or issue you might face. The resort is highly maintene and clean! Staff are going around all day cleaning and organizing. Pool area and restaurant are really nice. Rooms are very private, quiet and has a nice space. Loved the big bath :) The only downside we find is the breakfast that could definitely improve!

Stayed here last week for 5 nights was a great resort to stay at!
