Apartment Margarita

Very well located, well equipped and spotlessly clean, comfortable and cosy apartment. Host was very helpful and knowledgeable of the local area.

Everything about this place was fabulous, location is amazing!

Great location. Minutes walking distance from great restaurants and Diocletian's Palace. Older unit, but adequate. Washing machine in the unit. Free parking is actually at public parking lot about 12-minute walk away. Owner (actually, the owners brother) was very helpful with at check-in, and readily available.

Apartment Margarita has a very good central location and was more spacious than I was expecting with everything I needed. Ivan was very helpful and despite my flight being delayed was waiting for me. It is above the kitchen of a popular and very good restaurant and there is a lot of clanging and bottling up noise around 10.30 and preparation begins at about 7.30 am so you may want to bring earplugs if that will bother you. Otherwise perfect!

Perfect! We booked a short 3 night stay. This is a fantastic little apartment with all the amenities you need. Ideally situated within walking distance of all of the attractions Split has to offer. Lots of great restaurants to choose from, all of which are very reasonably priced with excellent local food. We ate three times at Dujkin Dvor which is about 2 mins from the apartment. The service was brilliant, friendly and informative, the food was even better. I would recommend hiring a couple bikes and taking a ride around Marjan Forest, stopping off at one of the many secluded beaches. Anyway back to the apartment. Spotlessly clean, well presented and comfy. Ivan who manages the apartment is a real professional, he was genuinely friendly, attentive and full of really useful local knowledge. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. For a couple looking to be self sufficient on a short trip to Split I could not recommend this place highly enough. Thanks Ivan.

Our stay started with a bit of miscommunication with the owner that left us standing in the rain for half an hour, then waiting at a nearby bar for another 30 minutes as he forgot the keys. A bit of an inconvenience but not a big deal. The reason for the 3 star rating is that we experienced a strong smell of cigarette smoke on 2 of our 3 nights. The first night it was so bad that our freshly washed clothes that were hanging in the living room to dry smelled like we had laundered them in a bar. When I emailed the owner, he replied that they haven't had any complaints previously. Which, based on the previous reviews, is totally believeable. Not sure what happened but would extend caution if you are allergic to smoke. No other issues however this was a big enough deal to warrant the 3 stars.

It is clear that the owner takes a great pride in making guests feel at home, the apartment is spotlessly clean and comfortable and with all the necessaries provided. I cannot fault it in any way.

Very pleasant. Lots of restaurants but most serve the same stuff. Good beer, so so wine and expensive. Room has been great.

The studio was quaint! The location was superb, walking distance to everything you want. Most importantly, our host Ivan was outstanding. He went out of is way for us on multiple occasions. He even went so far as to find us another apartment when we decided to stay longer. Truly a gracious host

Nice basic apartment 5 minutes walk from the palace. Nobody at the apartment to meet us so luckily a worker at the restaurant below called to get the host to meet us. Little bit noisy in the evening and morning due to the restaurant below but overall a nice play to stay if you get a good price.
