Hotel Villa Condesa

This is a wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of the Condesa area. There is no sign outside or numbers by the rooms, making it feel like a secret only a few know. I hesitate to write more because it is really a gem and would love to keep it a secret only a few know. The hotel is in an old house that has been renovated. Our room was beautifully decorated and had very comfortable furniture. The bathroom was a bit small but functional. The included breakfast was good. It included a hot drink, fruit or yogurt, and a main course. Highly recommended.

Some floors were a bit squeaky.

Excellent location. Safe. great and friendly staff. Beautiful shared spaces.

The blue gate entrance was a little confusing to find at first but it’s just a buzzer on the upper left hand side.

Great location, great shared spaces in the hotel, friendly and helpful staff, very comfy bed, a lot os space in our upgraded room.

The room was above the kitchen so we heard the noises of breakfast being made quite early. Also (and more of an issue) the stairwell and to a lesser extent the room) filled with cooking fumes (smelt like bacon coking but we could understand how so much bacon needed to be cooked). They could do with looking how the kitchen and stairwell vent. Also, the bathroom in our large suite we very narrow - quite hard to sit down on the toilet. A tall person would struggle.

Das Badezimmer war sehr klein, kaum Platz zum stehen und keine Ablageflächen

I liked the location and the free breakfast which was great.

I had a room on the first floor at the entrance. I didn’t like the exposure to street noise and my inability to have privacy without my room being totally dark in the day. The bathroom wasn’t great and the shower design is terrible with the door going to the wrong direction.

Location was great. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and varied. Staff in restaurant and at front desk were helpful. Shower pressure was excellent. Walked from hotel to many places. would return.

Bathroom was small so shower door only opened enough for a normal size person to get in - after that it hit the wall in the back of the shower or the toilet. This was not an issue for us, but i would hesitate with larger people. Also the bed was a double not a queen. we were fine but a queen would have been nicer.
