Hotel Haus Rheinblick

Bei Ankunft war an der Tür ein Zettel geklebt mit Tel.-Nr. und Anschrift vom Hotel "Alt Düsseldorf" in dem wir auch übernachteten. Das Hotel "Alt Düsseldorf" liegt 30 mtr. von der Bolkerstraße weg, also mitten im Geschehen von der Altstadt und Fußgängerzone. Dazu muss man sagen, dass dies ein sehr altes und einfaches Hotel ist, das Frühstück ist o.k., nur der Lärm der vorbeiziehenden Partygänger ist bis in die späten Nachtstunden zu hören

This is a small hotel in the Dusseldorf old town, with four floors and maybe 16 rooms. I arrived at 10:00 pm. The hotel was locked and no one was at the reception desk. A sign on the door directed me to check in and get my key at a sister hotel two blocks away. I was assigned a room on the 3rd floor (4th floor in American terms), no elevator, up a narrow winding staircase, with a heavy suitcase. The room was clean and comfortable, renovated, small but big enough with a desk and TV, and an en suite shower and sink. But no toilet. Out in the hall I found the toilet shared between my room and one other, according to a sign on the door. Apparently the other three rooms on the floor had en suite toilets. I could deal with this for one night. If I had planned to stay in town longer, I would have gone somewhere else. Breakfast the next morning was quite good, but back at the sister hotel.

Viikonloppuna huoneeseen kuului paljon melua läheisestä baarista aina yömyöhään asti. Arkena rauhallinen paikka. Alue ja sijainti muuten on hyvä. Erittäin hyvä aamiainen hotellissa.

Niestety brak suszarki do włosów, a zameldować się trzeba w innym hotelu. Śniadanie też w innym hotelu. Brak parkingu. Parking podziemny bardzo blisko, ale koszt to 18€

Hotel Haus Rheinblick was a great fit for what I needed - it was clean, comfortable, and reasonable. The rooms are quite small, but perfect for what I needed. My main challenge was that the staff there did not speak english so it was a little difficult to ask questions about amenities. There was a wonderful breakfast served on some of the days but not on others. I was uncertain as to why breakfast was not served every day. There is no elevator, so you must be able to carry your bags up/down the stairs. There was not always someone available at the front, however, there was a phone number that could be called for assistance. The surroundings were quite active - many bars and restaurants in the area and it is a short walk from the river and from public transportation - very convenient for getting around. I would stay here again.

Sehr gute Lage für einen langen Kneipenbummel, Frühstück ist auch ganz okay. In den dritten Stock ohne Aufzug hält auch fit ... Ansonsten kann man nicht viel erwarten : aufgrund Fehlern beim nachträglichen Einsetzen von doppelverglasten Fenstern Schimmel in der Einfassung, das Bad war doch sehr klein, das Waschbecken im Schlafraum ist heute auch eigentlich nicht mehr in Mode ... . Die Kritik am Zimmer hat aber nichts mit den Reinigungskräften zu tun, diese hatten gut gearbeitet; der Zustand des Objekts ist halt nicht mehr wirklich zeitgemäß! Ein vorheriger Besuch im Schwesterhotel "Alt Düsseldorf" war deutlich attraktiver....

באופן משונה, האתר הפנה אותי לצ'ק אין במלון אחר ברחוב סמוך בשם Hotel Alt Düsseldorf. או אז התברר כי לא אלון במלום המצויין באתר אלא במלון הזה (אליו מתייחסת הביקורת). היות שהדבר לא הפריע לי, לא הייתה לי סיבה לבקש לעבור למלון בו הזמנתי חדר. החדר היה זערורי ונקי, מספיק ביותר לינה של לילה לאדם אחד. הצוות היה אדיב ובסך הכל השהות היתה נעימה.
