Worst property I’ve ever stayed at. As soon as you walk in it smells of mold. In the room, the wooden floorboards are really badly put together and have bigspaces between them. In the bathroom, the wooden floor is rotten and bends as you walk over it. It is covered by vinyl but every step make you feel like you will pass through the floor. The cupboard was broken. The microwave/stove was all rusted and disgusting. On our last night there, my wife was in the shower and the neighbour from under came banging on our door to say that the ceiling had broken and that the shower water was leaking on his bed. For the inconvenience of it all, you would think that we would have gotten an upgraded room as well as the poor guy that his room was flooded. We were given a room that was in worst condition than our previous room. The owner asked us to change to an other room that was smaller, had a worst bathroom floor than the last and a really uncomfortable bed with a bed frame that would squeak just from breathing. He kept trying to put the blame on us for “possibly” leaving the curtain fall over the shower edge and let the water leak on the floor. From the way that the floor is so soft and mouldy under the vinyl, I would think this is an ongoing problem and nothing to do with us. Especially that we were being so careful not to let any water fall over because the floor was already in such a bad condition. I would not recommend this place for a wild animal to spend the night.

The room was very small, with no clothes closet and barely enough space to pass on the side. Bathroom was small with no storage and a small shower with Luke warm water. Parking was sparse but adequate. Is located in convenient walking distance to downtown dining and other attractions.

Shower door not properly secured to hinge; better system needed for check-in...a text message not enough. Expedia misrepresented details re: hours of operation (front desk). As a result, I ended up staying in another hotel for my 1st night! To a typical traveller, this accommodation leaves a lot to be desired!

Due to a booking error on our part at our choice B & B we were forced to take this as a second space for my mother at the last minute as there was few options remaining in the area. There is no one on site to assist which wasnt the end of the world. The entry door handle is literally missing, the place had a horrible old and musty smell. The room is designed to be antique feeling but it went so far as to just let the place get run down. The flooring is likely original with sections missing, a string pull light over head that she could not reach without climbing on the bed and a bathroom with absolutely no where to put your toiletries. The bed was unstable and rickety and banged against the wall...good thing she is single! She was so scared of the creepy noises, irrtitated by the barking dog next door amd the overall creepiness of this place that I literally cried dropping her off at this run down shanty. Considering it cost $200 a night is appalling for the absolute lack of amenities and run down conditions.

A small

It's a beautiful building until you get inside, then it's all downhill from there. I only read the first few reviews which were ok, but I should have read further. It reminded me of Europe in the 1960's trying to travel on a limited budget. Holes in the floor, holes in the ceiling, cat urine smell

It was a very beautiful building, with brick accents that were gorgeous in our room (unit 10). Overall it was a great stay and I’d recommend for people wanting a rustic getaway accommodation!
