Very dank and damp smell, little air circulation. Clothes and sheets get damp over the course of the day. Visible dust and everything. Not as quaint as it looked.

Two reviews should be written for this property. The first night's accommodation was quite unsatisfactory, up two flights of stairs, one without a handrail, an unsightly shower stall and three (live) wasps sharing the space. The owner accommodatingly changed our room for the second night...and it made a world of difference. No stairs, elegantly appointed quarters, mildew - and wasp - free.

Loved the location and the (off-site) booking agent. The room did not resemble the one shown on Expedia and the bathroom was barely bigger than a phone booth.
