Kavalari Hotel - Adults Only

This hotel was fantastic! Amazing views. Staff was so nice and helpful. Everything was in walking distance unless you had to take the bus to a neighboring town which was easy. Loved the shopping.

Excellent location. Great staff - Viola and Alexandra - were so nice and helpful, both before and during our visit! Also, bellman does a great job! Rooms, especially the shower, were unique and very clean. Only bummer was not great wifi in the rooms themselves. But most time is spent around city or on the terrace with a terrific view of the caldera anyway!

Convenient location and very helpful staffs

This hotel is in a very busy area of Santorini. It is built on top of a hill and you walk down a lot of steps to get to the rooms and breakfast area. It would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The view is amazing but I don’t know if it’s worth it if you’re always worried about falling. The staff were wonderful and worked very hard to make everyone happy.

Best location in Fira! When we opened the door, the first thing my girls says was “Wow!” We arrived late at night, so the view the next morning was another “Wow!” The cave interior was so cool! The staff was really helpful in suggesting a restaurant that doesn’t take reservations- with a sunset view! We enjoyed the breakfast on the terrace: a great selection in the most gorgeous of settings. We will definitely stay here next time we are in Santorini! Note: I use a cane on stairs. There are many here (56 from the breakfast terrace back to the entrance). No problem! It was so worth it! There is a nice strong, friendly porter who helped us in/out.

We had a fabulous stay! Breakfast was plenty and so good. Staff went above and beyond. Arranged a taxi transport from airport and back to airport. Very clean!!! Bell man/breakfast server was exceptional, a very hard working individual. The view from our window was breathtaking. So so very happy with our stay! Would highly recommend our hotel to everyone.

The view was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The stairs were quite fun but that’s Santorini!! Highly recommend!!

Bathroom was in need of updating, toilet leaked. Wifi was sporadic and didn't work often. TV also didn't work and 2nd room was in bad location and also in need of updating. Asked to be moved to another room but staff did not accommodate. Also, asked for restaurant recommendation and was sent to a terrible restaurant where the representation of Greeks was horrible - throwing dinner plates on the floor and playing loud music, poor service and food was less than average. Cleaning staff couldn't speak English or Greek and was hard to communicate with regarding requests. The gentlemen who helped with suitcases and served breakfast was the best thing about the hotel.
