Seacrest Guest House

The location is fantastic. Our room on the top floor had a view of Weymouth Bay. Rooms at the back had a view of the harbour, so you couldn't lose really. It's very easy to walk from Seacrest into the town, to the beach, and to the harbour. And further to Nothe Fort and onwards if you wish. There are lots of great places to eat and drink nearby. The best are overlooking the harbour. Seacrest doesn't provide breakfast, but the provisions in the little fridge were great. We didn't use them, but there were croissants, jam, milk, yoghurt, and water. We did notice that the croissants were out of date though. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well.

The room we were allocated was a little dated. It seemed as if it, and maybe the other rooms, could do with a good refurb. Small, which wasn't a massive issue as we weren't spending a lot of time in it, but not a lot of room to manoeuvre. The en suite shower is shoe horned into a corner, so that reduces the space. The toilet is in there, but the basin is in the bedroom, again reducing the space, and there is very little room to lay out your toiletries. The 'wardrobe' was also shoe horned into a corner and wasn't tall enough to hang up anything long. Free parking is available on the street with a permit from the premises on a first come, first served basis. We drove around when we arrived looking for a space, but nothing was available. This was mid-May, so it must be awful in the summer. We had to park in the nearby Pavillion Car Park. Very handy but be prepared to pay £15 plus for a day if you're staying for an extended period of time. The owners weren't available between 6 pm and 10 am, except in an emergency, which was difficult if you had a question or two, which we did. So, our questions weren't answered. Also tricky if you're wanting to check in after 6. On the whole, if you're happy with a basic stay, a comfortable bed, and a small room in a great location, plus parking charges of around £15 a day, it's acceptable.

Does exactly what says on the tin, so to speak! Just got home from a fabulous 3 night stay in room 2, the double bedroom overlooking the beach. It was everything I wanted, clean, nice decor, bed was soo comfortable & great to have the ensuite. Loved sitting in the window watching the world go by. Loved the snacks left in the fridge. Think that's a great idea. Close to the town & harbour but boy did I still manage to get those steps in 😆 It was lovely to meet you & I'll definitely be back 😊

The bathroom was very small

The room was nicely decorated, clean and the hotel was in an exceptional location. Superb hosts, the fridge was nicely stocked for our arrival, and the folder about things to do was very helpful and a nice touch. We would definitely come again!

No breakfast guest house and location was spot on so much so we have rebooked for later in the year

Nothing all good fabulous

Location was fantastic and stress free ,room was nice a tidy & views of across the sea and weymouth by night is stunning. The hosts were very good made sure we had bits in fridge like milk juice and tea and coffee and shower gels and shampoos.

We did have a few cobwebs in corner of room and the plumbing was noisy when using en suite and shower was a bit small. But this is being picky the veiw is amazing.
