Sehr nette Gastgeber, Gutes Frühstück

There is not enough stars to rate this property. It was absolutely superb. Phil and Ness are the most amazing hosts going out of their way to make your stay so wonderful. The room was cozy, clean, and very comfortable. The location was easy walking to the town and hikes. The breakfast included was the best we've ever had with multiple choices and superbly cooked and presented. The attention to detail is exceptional. We wish we had stayed longer.

Das Frühstück war großartig, die Lage ist super, das Haus hat Charme und Geschichte. Der Konstrukteur der berühmten Seilbahn wohnte einst dort. Aber das wichtigste, sind die Menschen, die das kleine Hotel betreiben. Sie sind herzlich, humorvoll, hilfsbereit - einfach unschlagbar nett und zuvorkommend. Wir haben viel gelacht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Es hat alles gepasst! Und hat rein gar nichts missfallen.

Leaving at end of 4 days, but that was our choice, had we had the time available we would have stayed longer

This place is from a different time - in a very good way! A time when hosts genuinely valued their guests and making their stay as special as possible. Ness and Phil made us feel like old friends returning, although it was our first stay. Ness' delicious food and Phil's charming service set this place apart from the usual perfunctory run-of-the-mill hotels. We will be back!

The hosts, Phil and Ness, were wonderful - so friendly, helpful, and accommodating! The location was great, it was a very short walk down into Lynton to shops and restaurants. The room was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was generous and delicious.

There was nothing we didn't like.
