Yallands Farmhouse

Lovely farmhouse with an interesting history. Beautiful cozy room with lovely soft pillows and duvet, great shower and the room was unexpectedly big. The traditional English breakfast was really delicious and we had homemade, very tasty, marmalade on our toast. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful.

We expected a farm The property is actually situated off a main road surrounded by a modern housing estate It is very dated ( in a needs investment way) The hosts were pleasant and the breakfasts was good

Lovely characterful building, with very comfortable beds. I had the Chestnut Room and loved the view over the beautiful garden. The owner is extremely friendly and welcoming. His recommendation of The Cross Keys for dinner was spot on - worth a visit. Breakfast was delicious and definitely set me up for the day - I sampled their homemade tortilla. Delicious! I will be visiting Taunton regularly so will make this my preferred stay.

I missed staying at Yellands due to being hospitalised. I organised a trip for five of us but due to the circumstances only three people stayed at Yellands. They all enjoyed their stay.

Very comfortable and warm, nice breakfast, lovely owners. Lovely stay and had everything we needed.

Nothing

Orchard room was spacious beds clean and comfy. Saniflow made a bit of a noise but shower good. Host was accommodating and kept in touch with information before we arrived.

Inside bedroom window had a few cobwebs and needed a bit of a clean

Lovely old building, and the owners respected it.

The breakfast was a bit disappointing for me, though my friend seemed happy. I dont happen to like tinned tomatoes and the bacon was hard, I couldn't eat it. I suspect it had come out of the freezer.
