Good location quiet reasonable rates

Mattress was not very comfortable could do with better quality.

Good location, parking. Staff very friendly.

Bins weren’t empty in my room when I arrived.

Good edge of centre location with decent sized car park at rear. Air conditioned lobby and bar/dining area.

Many internal doors to navigate to get to your room. Many of these felt grubby. Bedroom carpets were thin and needed replacement. Single bed mattress was too saggy. External window faced a brick wall, as did some other rooms, and opened to the sound of the kitchen extractor fan from 6am to 11pm, which would keep you awake. Very basic soap dispenser in the bathroom/shower, and poor lighting (broken single bedside bulb) in room and ensuite.

Considering i used to live in Peterborough i have never stayed here and from the outside you wouldnt think too much of it. But once we were inside it was very clean and really well decorates and presented. The staff were ever so friendly and welcoming. The room was really clean and tidy, i also loved the sign from the cleaner himself 'Tommy', i think thats a great detail as i am a cleaner myself so its nice to know the name of who cleaned your room and if there were any issues then you would know who to mention about. The price for 3 nights was honestly amazing too, a decent price for which we could afford. The location is perfect for a walk into town or anywhere close to the city centre so it didnt mean we had to drive much which was great. Overall the hotel was great and we really enjoyed our stay and we will be staying for future visits.

I wouldnt list many things about what we didnt like...mainly other guests were very noisy and we didnt get much sleep due to screaming and shouting and doors being slammed until 2am. This was the only downfall, i understand people are out to have a nice time but on the day we came home we had a 4 hour drive and we were running on 3 hours of sleep so i would.possibly advize a noise curfew if possible just for the respect of all guests. The bed wasnt the most comfortable. The mattress mainly so we had very sore backs and it was also difficult to sleep. I did have an issue with using the taps for the shower, they seemed stiff??? Im not sure but it was difficult to regulate the temperature of the water especially when we had 33° weather!! 😂 Even with these negative comments we will 100% be staying here again for future visits.
