Wonderful host family clean and comfortable huts with full modern bathrooms and AC. Breakfasts, lunch, and dinners were all superb. Village safari by host was fun and interesting. Cooking class also enjoyed greatly.

We loved that we were made to feel very welcome and part of the family. Our mud hut was traditional, yet had all the comforts of any modern accomodation.

Everything! The family went above and beyond to fulfil all our wishes. We were picked up and delivered to the station and a welcome meal was cooked at 11pm! All home cooked food was exceptional and all members of the family totally welcoming. The trip we chose - rural safari - was amazing - again everyone totally welcoming. Everything is for the guest; and I mean EVERYTHING. Our stay was far from long enough - I would recommend several days’ stay and take advantage of everything on offer in this superb homestay.

Chhotaram and his family have created a beautiful home stay… the accommodation in traditional cottages were very comfortable & the attached bathrooms are excellent. The food was fabulous ( thank you ladies!); and the safari and village walk informative and fun. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a true village experience.

Beautiful home stay with local family, out of the city

I like the concept of the homestay. They have packed something interesting. Ashok, who is a co-host and Chotaram's brother is polite. Chotaram did not quote engage much with us, mostly because he had better prospects to attend to, whom he could sell a Jodhpur experience package. This is a better place for people from Johdpur and cities around looking for a getaway and cool down. It is not a place you would want to go to if you have to go back to the city, that is if you are a tourist/traveler. Stay there for a day, or more depending on the time you have to spare.

The location. Getting to the homestay can be a pain. If you are traveling from the Udaipur side, Google is likely to tell you to take a left from the highway for the final 10 km. And those 10 km can give you hell and make you rethink your decision, Getting in and out of the place, even otherwise is difficult if you rely on Google. It's like a maze, the village roads and Google map messes up big. Also, the food may be a letdown for some. What we cannot deny is that it's clean and hygienic.

The property is in the outskirts of town. The rooms are clean and hygienic. The best part is the food. It's so delicious. The ladies in the house make some really really delicious food. They have multiple charging points in one room. The bathroom is very big with modern amenities. The hosts are kind and friendly with excellent hospitality.
