Lago Resort Menorca Casas del Lago - Adults Only

We loved this hotel! Excellent facilities, cleanliness, helpful staff, fabulous food choice. Can't fault it! 5* place

The Hotel was perfectly situated for not only the beach, but the Marina with a fabulous selection of restaurants. Lovely relaxed atmosphere with superb breakfast facilities, and great poolside bar. The only downside was we could not get into our room until 3.30pm on the first day. We were also woken at 6am every morning with what sounded like furniture being dragged across the floor from what was we thought a storage area above our room. The staff were pleasant and helpful, a good find as long as you do not mind the 50 minute run from the airport and a Taxi Fare of €70 each way.

Fantastic hotek, the staff are amazing. Javier is such a character and will be sure to make you smile. The team couldn't have done anymore and I've recommended to others already. I will be back for sure.

the property under sells its self, we were pleasantly surprised at suroundings, and colour scheme is beautiful.

Unfortunately I was unlucky enough to be put in room 102. A “marina view” room, with nothing “marina” about it. When we complained to staff, they said ‘yes we know the room, and we know it isn’t good, but it is peak season so there are no other rooms available and we can’t move you or do anything about it’. It was only after constant complaining for two days that they looked hard enough and discovered another room was actually available to move us. No apologies, nothing! So I paid for two nights of a premium room for nothing - I call this theft. They shouldn’t advertise/sell this room as marina view at all. It’s a shame because the hotel was ok otherwise, and the good rooms were nice enough. I think I was just unlucky to receive the worst room, and then some terrible service as wel.

Great location, spacious rooms and very friendly staff. Food was awesome. Located in the small harbor with plenty of food options outside. Only one complain is the bed, it’s true king size, but isn’t comfortable. Better bed would turn this review into 5 stars.

Lovely place and super relaxing

Positives: Good pool area, close to the beach, very good hotel boat trip (highlight), easy and cheap to take the bus to/from Cuitadella for an evening (bus stop outside hotel), good breakfast (fresh smoothies and fresh orange juice being the highlights), complimentary drinks in room, being relaxed about having own drinks around the pool, NO KIDS! Great Balinese beds and online booking system. The booking system worked very well, ive not seen that before and stops the arguments and having to get up at 6am to reserve a bed. Very Good idea. Negatives: None really. Only slight negative was the pool DJ through the day. He was fine and played chilled music, but i'd rather listen to my own music at a lower volume.

Very relaxing with great views, we would come back . Excellent breakfast.
