"Avoid this hotel"

The location, being close to the Island, was the only thing we liked about this hotel.

Staff were not helpful or kind. Our first room was flooded by the room above us water leak. There was a gap in the door frame making it difficult to securely lock the door. The power went out and was out over 12 hours, including the hot water heater. The elevators also did not work while the power was out & my disabled husband had to take the stairs multiple times, which was exhausting & prevented him from being able to enjoy more activities during our much needed vacation. The second room was damp & humid. The bedding & even the walls were moist from humidity. Our dog coughed & sneezed the whole time in that room until we checked out the next morning. The staff never offered any assistance or accommodations when we had all of these issues. We had to move all of our belongings ourselves to the second room.

"Outdated pictures, not worth money"

Location was near everything. Outside of property was beautiful.

The lady at the front desk was yelling at the boy trying to help us check in. Later on when he was helping with room issues he informed us it was only his first day. Very inappropriate to be treating staff like that especially on their first day. Our first room we checked in the bathroom lights wouldn’t turn on. Room was very hot so I’m sure AC was not working but we didn’t mess with it we got moved. Second room was a conjoining room but our side of the conjoining didn’t lock the door just would stay cracked open. We just put a table in front due to not wanting to request another room. The second room had cleaning supplies left behind. Room was just very outdated compared to pictures shown online. Just not in great shape. Was really excited because it looked so cute but sadly was very disappointed.

The hotel met all of our expectations, the price was amazing, the location was great, there is not always someone at the front when we checked in after 8.00 although she did cone shortly. When we went to check out at 7:00 this morning the office was locked. I would say that was tre only drawback. The rooms were clean, recently remodeled.
