Grimscote Manor Hotel

Enjoying stay at this family run Hotel. Gill and her daughter Georgie always provide a warm welcome

Staff were super friendly and the hotel was very nice and old style. Breakfast was great with a great selection also.

Room at the top of the house was too hot, had to open teh window a few times. The mattress was lop-sided as only one side of it (the side not under the roof) is being used so didn't sleep very well. The evening meal wasn't great. Despite this, i would stay there again though (in a different room).

We went for an afternoon tea and we were so impressed! Both the tea itself and the venue were outstanding. We felt it was the best afternoon tea we’ve had (and we’ve had a few!) The food was first class and we loved the fact that each person got their own individual tier of plates of food. All the food was delicious and we were provided with unlimited tea and coffee. The venue was in a very picturesque setting with lovely grounds which were well maintained. It must be noted that it is next to a dual carriageway but you wouldn’t know, it’s hidden away. The hotel was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, each lounge and function suite has a different style. The whole experience was topped off by the friendliness of the staff. We were well looked after, particularly by Maria who went out of her way to make us feel welcome. We would definitely return here as we are very tempted by their other menus!

Cannot praise this hotel enough. We have watched this hotel grow over the years. The service and friendliness of all the staff is amazing.

No Hooks on the INSIDE OF THE BATHROOM, for some reason they were only on the outside of the door so nowhere to hang a towel etc.

Everything. Especially the warm welcome, the cheerful staff who could not have been more solicitous. The dinner and breakfast were both absolutely delicious.

Nothing serious. The floors creak (it's an old building!).

We were visiting friends 31st march to 2nd April, who live on Litchfield Road Coleshill, and had stayed in a cheaper hotel last time, but after booking same hotel we decided to change to the Grimscote, yes it was a lityle more expensive but prived to be a great decision, and well worth the few extra pounds, on arrival we bumped into Steve the hotel owner and all round mastermind of all the beautiful things in the grounds, a really friendly and interesting man, with so many ideas in his head, was a pleasure to also spend time chatting to Paul about the works that they have done over the years. We stayed in room 19 we have never had so many plug sockets (14 doubles) including integrated USB ports as well beside the bed, the room was spotless. There is plenty of parking and there is also a lovely area with Chickens and peacocks obviously undercover atm due to bird flu. Our room was lovely I would say furnished to a much higher standard than we are used to !!! very comfy bed and a great bathroom with good instructions on the shower. The room rate we booked included breakfast and that was lovely and the service all through the hotel was top notch, everyone had tomebto chat and make you feel very welcome. So weldone Grimscote we will definitely be back when visiting our friends obviously when we aren't on a cruise together ;-) Mandy and Graham
