Great place with very nice guests

Accueil très chaleureux par nos hôtes dans le centre historique de la ville, mais néanmoins très calme. Belle chambre très confortable et un excellent petit déjeuner. Bref, à conseiller.

Agréable B&B. Des propriétaires d'une rare gentillesse, très prévenants et de bons conseils sur la ville et ses alentours. À recommander.

Lidt svært at finde - og ret stejle og snævre gader på vej dertil. Kvarteret/Agrigento by er efter min smag lidt trist... Men tempeldalen er fantastisk.

Kerkent is at the very top of Agrigento and looks down toward the Valley of Temples and the sea. It is part of small square with reliable parking out front. We had a large room with terrace. The owners are why this place is special. We found Gisela and Tomaso the nicest hosts in Sicily, friendly, generous and thoughtful with local information. We will be back.

Rien à dire de plus que ce qui a été dit plus haut

Having mainly stayed in hotels, this was our first experience of a B&B for a long time and it shows how much better these places are than many hotels. This town does not have that many hotels anyway but staying in the old part of town in a small square was idyllic. The location is great, finding the place is not straightforward, though I would have found it first time if I hadn't stopped and asked for directions! The owner was there to meet us and show us our room which was spotless and we had everything we needed through our stay. He recommended where we should go and eat and this introduced us to some great places to eat and drink. I would recommend the Sicilian wine, cheap and very good. Breakfast was served by another family member, who was most helpful as well in advice on how to get a bus to the temples.

The B&B is excellent. Friendly people, good breakfast (mostly cold--not full English), very clean, comfortable bed and room (#5 even has a large shared deck with #4). Parking in the same piazza as the B&B is usually easy to get. In fact everything went well. My only problem with the B&B is it's location at the very top of the hill on which Agrigento sits. If you don't want to drive down each time, you will need to walk down an incline with an elevation change of about 2 floors, then 110 stairs to get down to the nearest major street for restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, etc. Of course, it's coming back up that's the hard part :-). The B&B is also on the first floor (that's the 2nd floor in US terminology), but they helped carry my luggage up. There really isn't anything on the piazza where the B&B sits (except a church), so going down to lower levels is a necessity. If you're not up for the climb, you could drive down, but then finding parking, etc., becomes an issue. I looked at it as some much needed exercise and rested a few times on the way up. Others may not take that view.

Heureusement en l'absence de GPS, un aimable vieux mousieur nous a conduit en nous faisant suivre sa voiture. Mais le soir venu seuls s'était plus difficile le plan de la ville fourni par Kerlentn'es t pas très précis. Bref nous retrouvons le piazzasanta Maria degi angeli (arès avoir été dirigés par des locaux vers la piazza sta Maria degi greci, beaucoup mieux connue, semble-t-il. Nos nous adressons à une famille par un fenêtre ouverte, qui nous disent non, le B&B c'est dans la rue plus bas. Heureusement arrivent deux clients qui npus confirment vous étes bien au bon endroit, kerkent c'est en façe!!! Et la famille qui habite en face n'en savait rien!! Enfin, mintenat ils sont au courant. Nous n'avions pas recennu la maison, il n'y a aucun signe extéreiur indiquant le B&B à par la sonnette.

O lugar é muito agradável,limpo, delicadamente decorado, simples. Gisella, a proprietária é acolhedora e sempre pronta a ajudar, uma pessoa muito amável. No café da manhã, delícias sicilianas. O hóspede se sente em casa no Kerkent.
