Kerkent

abbiamo soggiorno per 3 notti nel B&B e abbiamo apprezzato la semplicità e la disponibilità della titolare e del marito che ci hanno accolto quasi come fossimo degli amici di vecchia data. La stanza quadrupla che ci hanno fornito è risultata dotata di tutti i confort necessari e accogliente. La colazione discreta, con prodotti freschi sia dolci che salati. Ci sono stati forniti ottimi consigli sulle visite alla valle dei templi e sui locali per la ristorazione nelle vicinanze. Ci è stato fornito anche l'ombrellone per la spiaggia, dovendoci recare alla scala dei Turchi e avendone con noi solo uno piccolino. Percorrendo un breve tratto di strada in discesa, ci si trova in pochi minuti nel viale principale di Agrigento. Il parcheggio è disponibile gratuitamente nella piazzetta sottostante il B&B, nonostante ci sia discreto movimento di auto. Una piacevole sorpresa per un soggiorno gradevole!!

After having initial difficulty in locating the B&B due to the small sign outside the door, which is being dealt with by Angelo, we were treated to friendly, professional service. If you arrive by public transport notify the owner as he will assist you, as the B&B is in an uphill location. On arrival, we were given cool drinks and fruit which was a really welcome gesture. We were given a map of Agrigento, advice on where to eat and any questions we asked were answered with courtesy, The accommodation was excellent, clean, spacious and well maintained. Breakfast consisted of rolls, cheese, ham, yoghurts, cakes, drinks as requested and we were treated to fresh ricotta cheese each morning. All the sights of Agrigento are within easy reach of the B&B and if you wish to travel to the Valley of the Temples, the bus station is very near. There are quite a few restaurants to choose from nearby with the nearest, Manhattan, serving up delicious pizzas. If ice cream is your favourite, Le Cuspidi is a must, great flavours and so reasonable prices.

We stayed for 3 nights in May and were delighted with both the accommodation and the host Gisella, who could not have been more friendly and helpful. Our room was airy and spacious with a generous sized shower room and a terrace. Everything was newly tiled and decorated and there was a small breakfast room with another communal terrace for afternoon sun. Breakfast was continental but with a good selection of fruit,yoghurt, ham, cheese etc and a delicious torte every day. It is quite tucked away so if you are going by car a sat nav is a good idea but parking was not too much of a problem and it was so handy for the bus station that we left the car and took the bus to the temples. You can also walk to the Duomo and other sights as it is on the edge of the old town. We would definitely recommend this B and B to everyone except if you have mobility problems as it is up a steep staircase. There is also a really nice restaurant called Manhattan just down the road which serves typical Sicilian style food and pizzas.

Très bon accueil, d'une grande gentillesse et de bon conseil. L'hotel est d'une propreté impéccable. Petit déjeuner copieux et de qualité.

Kerkent er er det dejligste lille B&B, med en meget smilende og hjælpsom værtinde. Da vi kom var hun ved at plante blomster i en lille solgård, men var straks klar med forfriskninger til os. Vi havde et værelse med balkon og udsigt ud over en lille Piazza. Kerkent har parkering lige uden for døren. Man bør prioritere at besøge Templernes dal... Fantastisk! Besøg også Monastero di S. Spirito, hvor en nonne meget gerne fortæller og viser rundt. Kerkent var lidt svær at finde, men hold til højre ved banegården, til venstre efter parken og ved politistationen. Kør til højre og følg vejen rundt... rundt... rundt og så kommer I til Piazzaen, hvor B&B Kerkent ligger.

Room spacious, clean and updated. Very close to bus station and within walking distance of most attractions. Owners very helpful and accommodating. Good breakfast.

OTtimo B&B sotto tutti i punti di vista: accoglienza, disponibilità, pulzia. Le camere sono spaziose, e i proprietari gentili e disponibili. Colazione ottima e abbondante. Situato a 5 minuti a piedi dal centro di Agrigento. Comodo in tutto. UN'esperienza che consiglio a tutti e che rifarei volentieri semmai tornerò ad Agrigento.

Vi hadde i utgangspunktet tenkt å ha en overnatting her,men ble værende i to takket være et supert sted. Vertskapet vet ikke hva godt de kan gjøre for deg, og rommene var helt nyoppusset og lekre.(til og med badekåper i skapet)Det eneste negative kan være at det var litt vanskelig å finne.(kunne vært lurt med et større skilt ved inngangen)Vi anbefaler gjerne dette stedet til andre.

Très belle demeure rénovée avec goût, accueil exceptionnel, service de grande qualité,belle chambre avec terrasse et salle douche spacieuse et ultra propres.Petit déjeuner copieux, fruits frais, pâtisseries, jus de fruits thés frais à volonté.
