Nice hotel room described as small but they managed to fit in a king sized bed and en suite. Would definitely stay at hotel again.

Fabulous hotel, excellent room (No 8), "But not if you are staying for a long period" as there is no wardrobe space? "But very lovely anyway". Staff were very helpful, food was good, Two lovely restaurants, overall Fabulous for a short stay.

"Friendly, clean hotel with excellent breakfast"

Stayed for two nights , birthday getaway , in this clean, staff friendly, very old inn in the Cotswolds. Excellent condition for its age. The breakfast choice was great too, definitely recommend!

The Porch House dates back to 946 AD and is the oldest inn in England. Our room was very nice, comfortable bed and a combination of old and new. I loved that they kept the old door in the room. The inn has been beautifully restored keeping all the architectural accents. The restaurant and gardens were very good as well. I highly recommend this place if you are thinking of an overnight in The Cotswolds. Stowe on the Wold is a picturesque little town with lots of good restaurants.

Wonderfully cozy and at-home atmosphere in the rooms, although with no air conditioning it was hot sleeping with a down comforter. The location is excellent as well; we had a very quiet and relaxing time, as well as delicious fish and chips.

Wanna have breakfast under 1000 year old beams (been tested) then you are there! Waitstaff and all folks there were fantastic! Superb room and great food. Perfect town. Lucked into a local market day. Fantastic lamb-related adorable stuff shop in town. Great.

The Porch House was better than expected! It was absolutely charming! We loved our cozy comfortable room. There were many places in the Main Inn to sit have a drink or settle in with a book. Food was great as well.

What can you say, built in the 900's. Our room was quirky but very nice. And we enjoyed the pub. If you like staying somewhere historic, this place was great.
