A Maiden Rest exceeded my expectations. I pre-booked a single room, and was upgraded to a bigger room with a balcony when I arrived, which was completely unexpected - certainly improved my overall experience. The hotel has great access to the nearby harbour, beach, bus stops, and other notable locations. Perfect whether you're travelling on your own or with someone else.

Rooms are not sound proof. You can hear passing traffic, but that also means you can hear the sea!! (added bonus).

"A nostalgic sea front B&B that does everything you want it too."

Very nostalgic. The furniture and smells took me back to the 90’s. All well maintained.

Nothing really. Breakfast was hosted by a young lady that didn’t quite understand us. Asked for no mushrooms and she just nodded. Brought out mushrooms. Vegan couple next to us had great difficulty getting her preferences across. Food did taste lovely! Old fashioned fry-up.

The property has the best views in Weymouth. The location is a 2 min walk from the station and just by the beach. The property was clean and breakfast was good and served warm.

I don’t know why no one has mentioned this but the bathroom is very tiny. You can hardly turn back. I haven’t seen such tiny bathroom except on some trains. There are no pictures of the bathroom shared as well. I think it’s necessary to set correct expectations.

Staff very friendly breakfast was brilliant and hotel was in a perfect location

There wasn't nothing I didn't like maybe the view from my room wasn't the best but other then that it was perfect.

"Great place"

Location was fantastic over the road from the beach , The owners Dean & Maya were very good hosts nothing was too much trouble for them, the service at breakfast was great alot to choose from , fresh fruit , fruit juices cereals cooked breakfasts ,toast and more the waitress was polite and helpful, The room i had was just what i wanted ,there was everything you needed in it well worth the money
