Glenwood Inn & Suites

This motel is very well maintained and clean, both inside and out. Check in was very quick, and staff was very efficient. I would recommend this motel to friends and family.

This is the cleanest Hotel I have ever stayed in. It's clean, comfortable and safe. Lots of parking space. Easy to find.

Would definitely stay here again -- great service and value. Spacious rooms and friendly, helpful staff. Hot tub and both indoor and outdoor pools that I didn't try. Lots of available parking and, like everything else in the small town of Trail, close to everything. My only complaint was the screaming kids in the pool as I was trying to enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot tub, but that's on the crappy parents and not on the hotel itself! It's not really walking distance to downtown but just a couple minutes drive. Overall, enjoyed our stay and will definitely book here again next time I am passing through town or making Trail/Rossland my weekend destination of choice.

Ahhh..the Glenwood Inn..it is a bit like staying with family for us. We have stayed here a few times over the last 40+ years!! Many changes..all good. Very clean, very comfy and great people working there. Kudos to Tyler (and the handsome dog) for being so friendly and helpful. Yep..a family place. Thank you.

Our king room was spacious and clean.

The room was clean, spacious and the beds were very comfy. Don't care for the bathroom sink and vanity outside of the bathroom. Overall the room was fine. The service lacked a bit. The fellow who checked us in had zero people skills, no hello how are you today, he may as well have been a robot, all business which is fine but in the job he holds, if he has any personality he should show it. Perhaps selling tickets in the subway would suit his people skills better. After 8 pm there is no staff on the property so if you need something you're instructed to call the hotel down town. Huh? That's hilarious. Apparently the owners of the Glenwood also own the hotel downtown. We had a large group of teenagers standing outside of our room till 1:00 in the morning talking and laughing, loud at times but mostly annoying and disconcerting. Had there been staff on site we could have asked them to ask the kids to gather and chat away from the building. Oh well, they dispersed around 1:00 and it was fine. Would I stay there again, probably, there's nowhere else in town.

Clean and comfy

The pools were both great. The room was very large and exceptionally clean. The mattresses were the most comfortable we have found in smaller towns. My only "disappointment" was that the ice machine was behind the check in desk and they weren't open before we left for the day. We were there for a sporting event on water bottle preparation is essential 😆

Room was clean as it should be. No close proximity to dining is something to keep in mind. Otherwise, all good.
