Ramada by Wyndham Udaipur Resort and Spa

The chef and his staff were good, and the ambiance was wonderful.

The food could have been better, and we thought it left much to be desired from the class of Wyndham.

Property overall was very good, big spacious rooms. View from the room was very breathtaking, entire city in a glance, even restaurant has good view of the mountains. Very nice and comfortable stay. Bathroom was stinking a bit but we kept window open so that solved the issue. Swimming pool was nice and we enjoyed it with our baby alot. Staff were very nice and helpful, their service was very good. When they came to know, it was our son's 1st bday, chef arranged for a special pastry cake and then one more cake cutting in the evening. Both the cakes were very delicious and were complimentary.

Breakfast was little cold, bathrooms stink a bit. No steam or sauna available on the property.

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the experience we had during our recent stay at the Ramada Udaipur. Based on Ramada's reputation, we had high expectations, but unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had. We booked both Deluxe and Super Deluxe rooms, but upon entering, it felt as though we had stepped into a budget lodge. The conditions were appalling—far below what we expected from a well-known hotel. Even rooms in a Dharamshala would have been better maintained. The rooms were filled with a damp, unpleasant odor, and the sofas, beds, and curtains looked and felt no better than those in roadside night shelters. Despite our protests, it took a significant amount of debating before we were moved to premium rooms and villas, which were a slight improvement. However, the dampness and moisture issues persisted, with peeling paint and wet walls everywhere. It was clear that the rooms were not in a condition suitable for any guest. As we arrived late at night and were denied a refund, we had no choice but to stay. However, I would not recommend the Ramada Udaipur to anyone based on this experience, despite its premium appearance from the outside. Please refer to the attached images for reference. I hope that the hotel takes immediate action to improve its facilities so that future guests do not have to endure such a disappointing stay.

Amazing location and wonderful staff. Special shout-out to Bidisha at the reception desk for making our stay all the more wonderful.
