The location is amazing, absolutely stunning views. Utterly beautiful area - you can just walk into the most amazing places. The hotel is really charming and unspoilt, but with enough modern luxury to be very comfortable. The room was perfect for our stay. Very comfortable bed. And the balcony was incredible. We often sat out there watching the mountainside, the weather and the swifts flying beneath us. The staff were exceptionally kind, helpful and informative. Having no Italian, we were made to feel very welcome and all staff spoke sufficient English for us to be able to communicate easily. Breakfast was good and the restaurant meal was exceptional (really worth having).

Only thing I would have changed would be to have a jug of water in the room with a kettle or tea making facilities (but I am English.

Sehr romantisches Hotel, absolut geniale Lage. Die Aussicht ist atemberaubend.

Leider hatten wir ein sehr kleines und dunkles Zimmer, auch das Badezimmer war recht klein und der Duschkopf defekt. Zudem war es nicht möglich abends im Hotel zu essen, da kein Koch im Hause war. Der Parkplatz war nicht leicht zu finden (nach Angaben des Hotels ca 200m entfernt) - wir hatten keine genauen Angaben und benötigten knapp 45 Minuten um diesen zu finden, da er nicht ausgeschrieben oder beschildert war und deutlich entfernt vom Hotel liegt.

Frühstück war hervorragend .... v.a. aufgrund der Lage, dem sensationellen Fernblick sowie dem äußerst zuvorkommenden, höflichen Personals. Die lage am Sacro Monte di Varese ist sehr besonders, voller Charme / Geschichte / Nostalgie und machte den Aufenthalt zu etwas s. besonderem. Das Hotel hat nur 9 Zimmer und der Service ist "impeccable" / unübertroffen. Gerne wieder ..... family business & s. persönlich: kann es nur wärmstens empfehlen !!

Un très bel hôtel de style Liberty, dans un cadre magnifique. Accueil chaleureux et très professionnel. Dîner aux chandelles sur la terrasse avec une vue exceptionnelle sur le lac de Varese et la forêt. Cuisine raffinée. Petit déjeuner copieux, toujours sur la terrasse. Chambre très agréable.
