Wow! What a place! Everything about it is is stupendous. Set atop a high hill near Varese, it's a charming, classy, 100 year old hotel, with a great restaurant and magnificent views. Everything has been modernized, and done in a way that retains the spirit and elegance of the past. This hotel feels like a 5 star resort. Even the drive up was spectacular, with the old villas looking refurbished and beautiful. Highly recommend it. I wish I could give it an 11!
