The view was espectacular. Weather this time of the year was perfect! Would definitely stay again. Simone the Chef was Michelin class. The personnel was extremely professional and courteous. Wonderful experience!

The breakfast could have more variety. I would definitely enjoy some a la carte options. The cappuccino and espresso were fenomenal!

Ein zauberhaftes Hotel, wunderschön hoch über Varese gelegen mit Blick auf den Lago di Varese. Großes Zimmer, Aussicht in zwei Richtungen, es hatte sogar eine kleine Galerie. Das Personal sehr aufmerksam. Im Restaurant wird man mit "Sterne"Küche überrascht. Kompliment an den Koch auch für seine Saucen. Großartig.

Die Lage ist sicherlich speziell und die Aussicht grandios. Das Haus ist per se hübsch, das Personal, vor allem die jungen Kellnerinnen und Kellner allesamt sehr sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist top.

Das gehypte Abendessen war aber eher enttäuschend. Am besuchten Abend waren 6 x 2-er Tische belegt, der Service war schleppend. Die servierten Speisen waren sicherlich soweit in Ordnung, allerdings waren alle Gänge sehr fade und nur lauwarm serviert. Die Teller waren nicht heiss. Wir können leider den Hype auf das „Candlelight-Dinner“ nicht nachvollziehen. Was allerdings wirklich sehr enttäuschend war, war das Frühstück: Lieblos, achtlos und mit einer sehr dürftigen Auswahl. Nutella stand in einem Eimer mit einem Löffel auf dem Buffet, vielfach waren Käse, Aufschnitt, Brot vergriffen. Geschirr von bereits gefrühstückten Gästen blieb einfach auf den Tischen stehen. Die Gastronomie ist flop.
