Joaquin's Bed and Breakfast

Joaquin's has been operating for 5 years and I didn't have the slightest idea that it ever existed. Thanks to Hotels.com for the recommendation. I had a lovely time, indeed.

We were pleasantly surprised to find the rooms quite charming. The view of Taal Lake was fabulous! The staff were nice and check-in was easy. Breakfast was also good. There was a slight smell outside the garden of one of our rooms. Not sure where it was coming from, although the smell disappeared the following day.

Book it! Had a wonderful stay at this place!

Friendly staff. Requests were responded to quickly. Clean room and common areas. Decent wifi when on patio. Good selection of channels on TV if the weather doesn't cooperate. Daily breakfast was very good both American and Filipino style. The only thing I didn't like was their coffee. However, you're flanked by Starbucks by walking .4 miles in either direction. Grocery store next to the Starbucks if you walk out and to the left. Plenty of restaurants within 10-20 minute walk. I was there for wedding and was able to get my clothes steamed. Would stay again!

nice breakfast with balcony overlooking taal lake. if u dont mind taking 46 steps, choose d rooms with garden. evrything positive except no wifi in the rooms, only in the lobby :)

Our family stayed here overnight for an out of town trip. The room itself is clean and relaxing with a good view of taal lake from our veranda. All staff are courteous and welcoming. The food is good and service is speedy. We'll definitely be staying here again in the future.

The hotel is located in the main street but the rooms are quite because they are located away from the street. If you're driving, be advised that they have limited parking space. They have nostalgic room setting with a small balcony facing the great scenery. They have one room available on the main floor for personnel who uses wheel chairs... there are no escalator or elevator available to the guests. Breakfast is available between 7:30am to 10:30am with limited selections. Orders can be placed the night before and can be delivered to your room on specified time. Staff is courteous and very customer oriented... service is fast to include room service and maintenance.
