Americas Best Value Inn Refugio

First off the hotel in rooms were surrounded by mosquitoes. Secondly the staff Was unprofessional. Thirdly the rooms were not clean very well the tub have dirt spots and mold and rust also the coffee that was complimentary was so old that even the packs of creamer were as hard a crackers when it was suppose to be powder. Completley gross do not waste your money.

Great rates, great rooms. Managers are taking exceptional care of all the rooms and all facilities. Can't even remember all the times traveling when simple things like laundry and vending is "out of order". Rooms were clean and updated. New tv's and plenty of parking for all the equipment we travel with. Both managers were extremely helpful and polite. Helped out a lot with finding places to eat and areas of interest near by. Would recommend for the price and simple cleanliness of the hotel.

I had a great experience, receptionist was very respectful & kind lady. Beds were very comfy nice television & very clean. Would stay there again if I had to. My family and I had a wonderful stay there was no discomfort at all. Loved the service && the free wifi!!!

Four of us stayed for one night. Room 102 had Big Foot with a hammer living above them, the beds were saggy, horrible but they had hot water, window shades fell off when trying to shut them. Room 104 had great beds, Big Foot with a hammer living above them and NO hot water in the shower. The shades on the window would not shut. Grateful we had a blanket to hang over curtain rod. To top it off the fire alarm battery started beeping at 3 a.m. We unplugged the battery and took the wires off and it stopped about 5 minutes later. The rooms were clean. The bathroom was in need of repairs in 104. The switch turned both the rattling vent and the light on. The bathtub was well used. The faucet regulator wouldn't hold to the hot side of water and even when you held it in place, never got hot water. The AC unit was noisy enough to cover the road noise just not the Bigfoot noise from above. We spent $77/night. By the time we left, we agreed it was too much for the issues we had.

Luckily we were only there a very short amount of time. We didn't get there until after midnight and had to leave again by 8 the next morning. But the tub and shower looked very run down with paint chipping and dirty looking. The bed I slept in felt like it had a whole on one side I thought I was gonna roll off the bed.

Motel was overpriced for the condition of room. Restrooms were nasty. My friend also stayed there and his heater didn't work. Not satisfied

The desk staff was pleasant and efficient. This is a perfectly adequate place to stay if you're too tired to continue driving.

Creepy smelly and covers were dirty

Room had an odor, bugs in bath and living area. Bed was ok, pillows where thin.
