"Excellent location for the panda base"

We chose this hotel for the excellent location for the panda base and were not disappointed. We had booked a room with lounge access and were told that the lounge had not been used since Covid-19. Our room was upgraded and the lounge benefits could be exchanged in the restaurant. A little confusing at first but worked out well with the food being delicious and plentiful in the restaurant. We could just make out the panda base from our bedroom. The beautiful hotel lobby was full of pandas which always brings a smile to you. The free shuttle bus to the panda base was easy to arrange and flexible times available. Only took 5-10 minutes to get there although does not drop you at the gate. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Local shops and restaurants very close by and easy to walk to.

We had a 2 day stop over and used it to see the panda's and this was the ideal hotel. Very modern, 5 star with big rooms. We ate in both restaurants and enjoyed the dinner buffet on the LG restaurant. Staff were ok in English which was a plus. The free shuttle to/ from the pandas was appreciated. Great value for money. Excellent.

Very spacious room, fabulous bathroom with separate freestanding bath. Staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful and luxurious decor throughout the hotel. Perfectly located for the Panda Base and also not too far from Chengdu city centre

AC not very effective. No mini-bar.

"A Good Choice for Visiting Panda Base"

The hotel is close to Panda base. The hotel offers shuttle to the panda base. The room is clean and comfortable. The hotel is very generous to allow us to stay until 4:00pm after visit the panda base. Breakfast is very good, has variety choices.

"Convenient and easy access for the Panda Research Base, not the best for access to the city"

Free upgrade on arrival to a deluxe room - this was huge, very clean, nice views over pool and panda base Convenient for pandas and free shuttle bus makes this easy 2 x pools - one good for lane swimming and then a leisure pool outside

- Need to bring a swim cap if you want to use the pool - they cost £7-£10 onsite! - We had read that there was a free shuttle to the nearest metro but this was no longer running. We were able to go into Chengdu using public bus and metro but this took approx 90mins each way
