"Look Elsewhere"

Room was okay! Bathroom drain was blocked and the toilet consistently choked. The breakfast was awful so didnt waste our time eating at the hotel. Staff were quite agressive and lacked customer service. I wont be back and dont reccomend it to others alot better around and at better prices and better locations..

"Don't put yourself through it!!!!"

The golden lotus..... What's good to say about this place???? Let's start with: 1. Unwelcoming manarisms and rude 2. Cold showers, shower doors don't close 3. So so comfortable beds 4. Absolute rudeness from front line reception staff whilst waiting for others downstairs! Pulled faces and talked rudely behind guests backs infront of myself 5. One room was given a hairdryer other room was told no hairdryers supplied 6. Breakfast = no thanks!!!!!!!! Ladies extremely rude couldn't take one bread roll away for my nephew! Only good thing was getting the heck out of there!!!

"never go back"

"HELPFULL STAFF AND GREAT VIEW"

My family stay in Golden Lotus hotel ( Sen Vang) on October 2011, we choose 02 rooms at same level at 7. a deluxe and a superior room. the view of deluxe room was excellent. the front desk staff was very nice and heldfull at the our arrival untill checking out, they gave us a lot of Nha trang information. we will talk to my all friends when they come to Nha trang and I will come back this hotel for next vacation.

"Good for budget travel"

I have traveled with my girl friend ,my brothers and sister. Of course, we choose 2 family rooms in 9th and 10th floor. 30USD/nite/family room/3beds. We go out and just come back to hotel at night to sleep. Our rooms near the staff rooms (maybe the family's owner room, i don't care) but it is extremely noisy at night and early morning. We can't have a full night sleep. . Lot of guests comments on the guest book which at reception desk that they do not fell comfortable with receptionist (name, I do not remember) . Fortunately, we meet good receptionist when we need information of motor renting.

"Disappointing stay with unfriendly staff."

I stayed at the Golden Lotus (also called Sen Vang) with my husband. Our stay was not pleasant. We arrived at around 5PM, tired after the train from HCMC and were greeted by a very rude receptionist. We booked the hotel online but they seemed to have no record of this, although we showed them our booking number. They told us to sit down and we waited for over 10 minutes. The lady then shouted at us to give her our passports and scowled rather than saying thank you. They asked if we wanted a window (yes?) then handed over our room key. The room was basic but very clean. One of the lights didn't work and there was only one plug socket. There was a window but it lined up with a wall and someone elses window. The bathroom had a separate shower (rare for this part of the world) but there was a window in the bathroom looking right out into other peoples windows with no frosted glass or covering. On our first night we were woken before 7am by a phonecall from reception in Vietnamese, they were letting us know breakfast was until 9. Breakfast is taken on the top floor with an incredible view, but was deserted with empty trays everywhere and we had to wait for around 10 minutes for someone to realise we were up there. Breakfast was very simple, omelette and baguette. There is loud building work either in or right next to the hotel. There is no way you'd be able to nap through the banging. The security guard is rude and impatient, he seemed to find shouting at us for no reason very funny. We tried to pay for our mini bar the night before we left, as we needed to leave at 4.30 the next morning but they told us it would be better to do it on leaving. When we checked out however the staff and security guard were asleep on the floor and NOT HAPPY about being woken. The security guard pointed at the door and shouted at us to "go!" but we needed our passports and to pay for the minibar. They then tried twice to get us to pay for the room even after asking multiple times if we'd payed online, which we had. We asked if they'd call us a Malinh taxi to the train station as we wanted a metred fare, the guy behind the desk agreed and began calling but the older guy ran out onto the street (furious) and hailed an unmarked minivan going to the airport, who was then very unhappy with us when we didn't take it. I would not recommend this hotel to a friend, there is much better value in Nha Trang. The only star is for cleanliness as the hotel is very well cleaned, just don't expect any more.

"Wait until the building work is finished next door"

The staff are friendly but have very little English and so misunderstandings can happen. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast is good. Hot water is non existant and the loo rolls are a joke. They are building extra floors on the hotel next door and the noise starts at 7.00am and forget about having an afternoon nap!!! We moved rooms but it was not much better. We meant to stay in Nha Trang for a week but left after three days. Did not rate the place enough to bother changing hotels.

"Good choice in front of the beach and super friendly staff"

Built in 2009.Spent 2 nights on NYE in this new hotel. Paid 22 USD a night for a room with every amenity and 2 big beds and with a small window from which we could see the sea.Room was clean but the glasses not really. They also have superior and deluxe rooms for few more dollars. Breakfast is not so good but (no buffet, instant coffee, warm and bad orange juice) and also the service can be better. Expensive laundry The receptionist and especcialy the security guy were awesome, they organized a pre NYE party in the lobby with 3 bottles of wodka and some snacks! All offered! Excellent hospitality and lots of smile. Higly recommended

"Golden Lotus or Sen Vang"

The hotel is 10 story brand new built. Room I chose is upfront, has balcony face with the seashore...Room has genourous cozy comfy space with a nice oil painting on wall and 2 big comfort queen beds . The floor is made by shiny big square tiles. Deserved a 3 star hotel (just because it doenst have the pool but right infront of the hotel is the sea and a water sliding park . From the balcony , the VinPearl can be seen from a far. The hotel is along with clusters of other 2 star hotels, a convenient place for sightseeing and budget tourists. The owner told me that the breakfast will be served next month on top floor. The rest of rooms all have standing bath room except the balcony room.
